Highlight: Opening, marketing and launching of Karen Millen Alexandria, Mohandseen and Cairo Festival City stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Karen Millen and Pronovias Buying of SS and FW collections for all Egypt stores since 2012
Staff management; includes hiring, evaluation, assessment and training (currently managing 60 employees in 7 stores including assistants, store managers, sales and cashiers)
Responsible for all store operations; including stock management, allocation of merchandise based on sales trends and demand, and visual merchandising
Preparing weekly reports, monthly evaluations, and yearly projections
Undertake sales forecasting and monitoring of inventory levels across brands
Studying capacity plans for shops in terms of staff and products
Work closely with the marketing department to enhance brand promotion and marketing activities including events, advertisements and sponsorships as well as cross selling activities.
In charge of the delivery of the business plan and achieve targeted sales
Ensure regular training is provided to the staff and coordinate needed training with the training department
Ensure proper assortment planning and inventory budgeting
Undertake problem solving activities related to staff and clients
Karen Millen Buying of SS08, FW08, SS09, FW09, SS10, FW10, SS11, FW11
Assist in the launching of Karen Millen Cairo City Stars store
Technical, staff and product movement issues
Coordinating order files, revokes and transfers from warehouse to send/revoke them to the stores on weekly basis
Defected items grading project and defected stock liquidation plan
Financial Planning & analysis
Order log, sales analysis, sell through, logistics, shipment tracking
Responsible for marketing new products.
Supervising the shop entirety, in addition to monitoring personal achievements of staff, sales targets, organizing daily targets for each individual, setting schedules, and customer service.
Responsible for team performance and individual targets, customer service and complaints, up keeping VM guidelines and each brand concept, product rotation, identifying slow and fast moving items, and product selection.
Came face to face with clients learning the process of sales, visual merchandising, and the very basics of retail from the core.
