Partner with Head of Finance by effectively assisting in day to day financial operations, budget preparation, cash management, reporting and process & system implementation for internal and external accounting reporting requirements. Responsible for financial accounting process with highest integrity. Work with cross functional team in defining accounting process requirements, assist senior finance management team in implementing controls, new policies and procedures. Coach and lead a team of accountants, communicate at all management levels, take ownership in new projects. Review pre qualification bidding process procedures assist Procurement team in setting up accurate financial terms and conditions. Responsibilities include execute company's monthly Oracle GL closing process, system set-up, update and conduct periodic audit checks for data integrity.

• Reviewing & analyzing Group financial reports for BOD review & business decisions.
• Monitoring & reviewing corporate budget in coordination with other business functions
• Lead role for the selection & implementation of ERP (oracle & Great plain)

• Supervising and handling all Real estate matters relating to Group real estate investments.
• Monitoring and co coordinating in Financial Market investment and Group Investment portfolio.
• Analysis, interpretation and finalization of the Financial Statement and consolidation of group accounts.
Responsible as Manager Finance & Accounts for:
• Reporting to Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and State Bank of Pakistan according to prudential regulations
• Treasury functions, handling all borrowings of the Company
• Financial Statements (Monthly and Annual Accounts)
• Statutory and Special Audit of the Company
• Dealing with Banks
• Planning, forecasting, Budgeting and Analysis.
• Internal Audit of legal documents prior to the lease disbursements
• Analysis, interpretation and finalization of the Financial Statement
• Checking and finalization of Periodical Management Reports
• Review of Internal Control Systems, their study, implementation and effective operations.
• Complete verification of all types of payments to suppliers/contractors
• Ensuring the compliance with the provisions of the Companies Ordinance, Income Tax & Sales Tax and other local regulation in day to day business transactions.
• Liaison with external auditors during audit, Interaction with other group associated companies.
• Long & short term financial & corporate planning.
• Arrangement short term and medium term finance
I am also responsible for corporate matters:
• Transfer of Shares according to requirements of Central Depository Company of (Pakistan) Limited.
• Filling of all corporate forms according to requirements of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Stock Exchanges.
• Responsible for the payment of dividend to England, United State based Directors.
• During my stay with Riaz Ahmed & Company, among the other qualities mastered the most important are Time Management, Preparation of work plan, Completion of assignments within stipulated deadlines, Performing cost effective work with quality, Maintenance of good relations between Audit team and client management. I conducted Statutory Audits as Semi Senior, Senior and Supervisor of Audit team of various organizations in respect of manufacturing, Tradings, services, spinning, weaving, sugar, non-banking financial institutions, government agencies etc.
