As a Project Manager, I work with the Implementation team to procure the equipment needed for each project and facilitate the execution of Energy Efficiency Measures. In addition, I lead the team by overseeing the progress of the project until it is handed over to the Operations & Maintenance team.
Taka Solutions is a Dubai-based Energy Savings Company (ESCO) providing energy solutions to the community using Energy Performance Contracting (EPCs).
As an Energy Engineer my Role within the organization was to span both technical and management areas of the project. Projects completed include energy monitoring & analysis, energy reduction & efficiency measures, technology design, etc.
Responsibilities within the organization:
• Perform on-site energy efficiency audits that are focused on mechanical system, control systems and lighting energy efficiency opportunities.
• Complete historical utility billing analysis and facility benchmarking analysis.
• Project Management: preparation of proposals, costing & estimation, reporting, system specifications, and procurement.
• Supervise on site technicians and engineers
• Monitor Electrical and consumption forecasting
• Site inspection, analysis and verification
• Recommend and analyze energy efficiency measures (EEM)
• Support in energy audit and analysis data collection methods and specifications.
• Utilize site measurements and information to help shape project scope and justify measurement selection, energy use calculations and M&V strategies.
• Plan, organize, and participate in performing preliminary and detailed project development audits of basic performance contracting projects
• Participate in performing preliminary and detailed project development audits of complex projects of unlimited scope and size.
• Perform savings calculations and identify any risk associated with the projection
• Prepare technical audit, energy, M&V and project performance reports
• Concept and schematic design, calculations and drawing production
• Conduct site visits to verify installation and operation of technologies
