Key Duties:
• Implement the Testing Strategy
• Advise on quality control and improvements of the testing processes and outputs
• Ensure and improve the quality and integrity of the software
• Ensure high-quality product features, releases and roll-outs
• Define the scope of testing within the context of each release or delivery
• Apply the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product
• Plan, deploy and manage the testing effort for any engagement
• Analyze requirements for the system under test in order to establish test conditions
• Design and select test plans and techniques
• Design, create and execute manual and automated test scripts
• Design, create and execute load test scripts
• Identify test objectives, plan and document test strategies
• Conduct and manage testing
• Identify impending risks
• Report on test results
• Conduct debugging and effectively log defects

• Undertake operational and technical aspects of processing information, data evaluation and analysis
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Key Duties:
• Review system requirements in order to clearly understand what needs to be tested from a functionality, performance and security perspective
• Create and maintain a testing framework and methodology under the Ieadership of the Testing Architect in order to create a test environment for current and upcoming requirements
• Create test plans and strategies.
• Manage the implementation of these with the rest of the testing team to ensure consistent quality in what gets deployed
• Develop and execute tests using proper test case design patterns
• Maintain test case inventories
• Create required data for test cases in collaboration with the Data Engineering team
• Evaluate various testing tools when required and develop a proof of concept before making a recommendation
• Have an excellent knowledge of the software architecture within the Harambee Pathwaying Platform
• Report defects or issues found during the execution of tests to business analysts, developers or other relevant team members to verify
• Maintain the quality of the Harambee Pathwaying Platform
