• Managing daily operations of the project, including administrative, logistics, procurement, subcontracts, and financial accounting as well as personnel.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for DAI home office on all home office requests related to operations.
• Responsible for identifying areas where policies, procedures and/or practices may not be fully aligned with project practice and advising project management with options and recommendations.
• Responsible for coordinating documentation requirements with various departments, i.e. grants, finance, Technical/Delivery, and other areas
• Develop acquisition planning reports and present to Senior Management on a quarterly basis, or as required
• Responsible for procurement in strict accordance with USAID regulations of office requirements.
• Oversee solicitation bids and quotes from vendors in adherence with policies and approved requisitions, in support of quarterly procurement plans
• Oversee the identification and screening of qualified candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations.
• Ensure recruitment and personnel actions are compliant with DAI policies and procedures, contract requirements, and USAID regulations.
• Establish calendar and process for completing annual and probationary employee performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance of termination procedures, including arranging exit interviews, and collection of all equipment and termination documents.
• Oversee facility support staff and services, including vehicle licensing, operations, maintenance, and generator repairs.
• Ensure adherence to operational budget and reconcile inventory.
• Supervise, train, and mentor operations and administration employees, including Senior IT Administrator, Administration & Logistics Officer, and Procurement Officer.
