Prepare Contract quality plan, Work Procedures, Method Statements and ITPs etc for Projects/Contracts/Tender.
Implementation of QA/QC activities including those of sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP /ITPs and Procedures, method statements and other contract documents.
Preparation and issue of NCRs and CARs and follow up of Corrective & preventive actions and maintenance of log, Analysis of root cause of CARs and NCRs.
Vendor Inspections, Attending Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for electrical equipments like Transformers, Switchgears, Diesel Generators, Cables etc. prior to dispatch.
Inspection of Incoming Materials with their Test Certificates for Projects and Services.
Visit manufacturers / Sub contractor’s works to take up inspection at vendor’s premises and recommend for improvement if applicable.
Collection, scrutiny, compilation and submission of test packs and project quality handover documents including as built drawings.
Prepare QA/QC Performance Reports, monthly and annually, non-conformance trend analysis, remedial actions, etc. and submit to QA/QC Management or client.
JOBS & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensuring the Electrical/Instrument activities is carried out as per the project/client (CMW) specifications with IEC, BS standards.
•Responsible for implementation of project quality procedure and inspection works as per the approved ITP, check lists and method statements.
•Reviewing/preparing method statement, ITP, IR and checklists for various installation and cable test reports.
•Coordinating with client represents to carry out the material inspections and FAT factory acceptance tests.
•Raising Site instruction/NCR in any defective works and provides necessary advice to correct as per project specification and approved method statements.
•Reporting to QHSE manager.
•Reviewing the cable schedules, SLD, lighting & power drawings, layouts, grounding & lightning drawings.
•Coordinating with client for inspections of transformer’s erection, accessories torque, oil filtration, cable installation, glanding and terminations.
•Witnessing the inspections with client for switchgear erection, torque, cable installation, glanding and termination.
•Witnessing the inspections for relay panels, battery, UPS panel’s installation and its cable installation, glanding, terminations and torque tests.
•Conducting the inspections for equipment’s grounding, earth rod installation, lightning conductors installations and exothermic welding for the joints.
•Conducting the inspections of cable trench, UG cable laying, cable splicing/jointing as per the specs/method statements.
•Conducting the inspection for cable tray / ladder, panel boards, conduits, boxes installation, wiring for receptacles, power sockets and lighting fixtures.
•Witnessing and coordinating client represents for cable IR, continuity test and its checklist, test report preparation.
•Coordinating with client for inspection of CCTV, PA, Fire alarm, Nurse Call and central clock system’s installations.

Coordinating with client for inspections of 33/11 KV, 11/0.41 KV transformer’s erection, accessories torque, oil filtration, oil BDV tests, cable installation, glanding and terminations.
Witnessing the inspections with client for MV and LV switchgears (rated of GIS 33, 11kV &415 V) erection, torque, cable installation, glanding and termination.
Coordinating the inspections with client for bus duct installations, tightness/torque test and its IR, dielectric tests.
Witnessing the inspections for relay panels, battery, VSD, RTCC, UPS panel’s installation and its cable installation, glanding, terminations and torque tests.
Conducting the inspections for equipment’s grounding, earth rod installation, lightning conductors installations and exothermic welding for the joints.
Conducting the inspections of cable trench, UG cable laying, cable splicing/jointing as per the specs/method statements.
Conducting the inspection for cable tray / ladder, panel boards, conduits, boxes installation, wiring for receptacles, power sockets and lighting fixtures.
Witnessing and coordinating client represents for cable IR, continuity test, VLF tests and its checklist, test report preparation.
Coordinating with client for cathodic protection system’s inspection at pipe lines and tanks.
Reviewing the documents of instrument index, hook up drawings, layouts, P&ID diagram and instrument cable schedules.
Preparing the documents for instruments installation checklist, instrument cable laying and its IR, continuity test reports.
Coordinating the inspections for installation of AJB, DJB, RTU, SCADA panels and its cable laying terminations.
Witnessing the inspection of instruments installation like flow meters, pressure probe/ gauge/ transmitters, level sensor/indicator, temperature sensors, DPS, analysis instruments and its tubing.
Witnessing /coordinating with TPI for instrument materials/devices inspection prior to installation.
Coordinating the inspections for FO cable laying, splicing, OTDR/ End to end test and cable terminations.
OFFSHORE EXPERIMENTAL PROJECT, D-ISLAND (HOOK - UP PROJECT)
Ensuring that electrical construction activities such as mechanical completion, punch lists and various aspects inspections are as per project /Agip kco specification.
Work with the Commissioning Engineer in generating punch lists during Mechanical Completion, pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities
Attending weekly meeting with client regarding any issues and NCRs.
Conducting inspections for cable tray/ladder installation, cable pulling, dressing, glanding and its terminations.
Works are in LSA (logistic support area), PSA (processing support area), PUA (process and utility area), LER (local equipment room), raised modules, well head area, manifold, pipe racks and different processing skids.
Reviewing of earthing/lightning, cable tray/ladder lay-outs, lighting system SLD and lay-out drawings and termination details.
Witnessing the inspections of heat tracing, PA&GA, F&G, telecom systems and IO panel terminations.
Working as a PTW coordinator (Permit to work System) in different Permit System for Oil and Gas field and also Working as a Performing Authority (PA)
Supervising the electrical and instrumentation inspectors’ activity for inspection.
