Responsible for ensuring the maintenance and effectiveness of the Project Quality System.
Review the approved project specification and strong implementation of project quality requirements.
Responsible for maintaining Proper Testing, Inspections, Test Record and complete documentation system and quality control performance.
Review comments received from the consultant on Material Submittals and Shop Drawings. Prepare and organize re-submittals as required.
Responsible for maintaining the quality standards by inspecting the receiving material as per specification.
Tests and measures finished products, components or assemblies for functioning, operation, accuracy, or assembly to verify adherence to functional specifications.
Ensure that all construction materials have their corresponding materials approval prior to use and all equipment have its corresponding updated calibration certificate.
Conduct daily surveillance on site and make sure all work/activities are executed correctly as per the project requirements.
Responsible for attending all Requests for Inspection (RFI) on time issued by sub-contractors and construction team for the acceptance or rejection of the scope of works as stated in the RFI.
Interfaces with the client, construction team, sub-contractors and other construction discipline regarding technical and quality aspects.
Coordinate with the Engineering and Design Department Regarding on the technical issue such as: Site query, latest revision of design and drawings, and the necessary remedy for the closure of site quality observation, Non-conformance report and quality deficiency report.
Capacity to approve or disapprove all concrete pouring activities after conducting site inspection.
Supervised and inspected all Structural & Architectural civil and building works activities such as: High-rise Buildings, Hotel, Hospital, Earthworks, Concreting works, Road works, storm water and drainage work.
Carry out on-site inspection as detailed in the approved (QCP) Quality Control Procedures.
Accompany the Client in all inspection hold points as identified in the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). Ensuring proper quality control documentation in all types of inspection and Material Inspection (MIR).
Performed concrete inspection before, during and after concrete pouring activities.
Conduct materials receiving inspection for all civil construction materials based on the approved materials specification.
