RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical support and end users support (80 faculty, staff and 3000 students).
• Responsible to maintain and support Local Area Network (wired and wireless) and internet connectivity.
• Providing IT support services and responding rapidly to user requests and logged incidents.
• Provide support to faculty and administrative users includes: Installation, configuration, upgrade, troubleshooting and provide first-level maintenance of needed hardware, desktop software and applications.
• Providing Technical Support, Installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting of Desktops, Laptops, projectors, multifunctional printers, audio & Video System and smart board.
• Change, add, delete and modify telephone extension numbers in telephone system (IPBX).
• Assist with day-to-day maintenance of servers including back-ups, software upgrades.
• Monitoring the network using network monitoring tools.
• Administering Active Directory, Domain Controller, creating, modifying user profile.
• Configuring Microsoft Outlook and setting outlook Rules and address book.
• Server, PC’s maintenance & protection against Virus/threats and firewall.
• Installing and configuring Symantec Antivirus server and client.
• Administrating University student’s information system, Emails and Bulk sms.
• Training staff and users on new system and software.
• Troubleshooting users related problems of O/S, Application, printers and Scanner.
• Monitoring CCTV systems, Access Control System Updating & contacting vendors.
• Documentation and Keep inventory of IT accessories.
