• Undertake detailed engineering design for pipes water supply, above and below ground drainage including preparation of layouts, schematics and details;
• Preparing bill of quantities;
• Prepare and review DPRs
• undertake preparation of the Geotechnical investigation reports for overhead water tanks and storage reservoirs;
• Assess the soil investigation reports submitted by third party and write report for review/approval prior submission.
To analyze the borehole logs, CPT, Cross hole, Refraction and various field &laboratory tests data to prepare the Geotechnical investigation reports;
Report writing and preparing recommendations for foundation design, earthwork, etc
To carry out various engineering calculation
bearing pressure for shallow strip, square and matfoundations
settlement for shallow foundations with various methods and theories;
settlement for pile group and mat;
consolidation settlement;
pile capacity (compression, tension, lateral);
liquefaction potential
swell pressure;
To perform the various geotechnical and geophysical field tests at sites;
Preparing technical and commercial bids, proposals, invoicing and contract
review.
Assess soil design parameters, perform engineering analysis and write report for
review/approval prior submission
Liaise with clients on all project matters and maintain good relationship with them,
inform senior geotechnical engineer or lead geotechnical engineer in case of
deviation from project program, technical issues or anticipated high profile
meetings
Hand on experience on various field geotechnical tests including:
Cone Penetration Tests (CPT)
Field California Bearing ratio Test
Thermal conductivity tests
Electrical Resistivity tests
Light dynamic cone penetration tests.
Also some of the geophysical tests including:
Cross hole seismic tests
Downhole seismic tests
Test on Piles
Cross hole sonic logging tests
Pile Integrity tests
Vibration monitoring tests
was associated with the quality control programs, testing schedules and supervision of construction activities.
