Engineering Design Process & Quality Management System (QMS) “ISO 9001” & “API Spec Q1”.
Engineering of Marine Structures such as, dry cargo, liquid cargo ships & barges, offshore support vessels, and FSRU.
Engineering of offshore structures such as, fixed wellhead/process/utility/LQ platform, PLEM, subsea protection cages, FPSO, jack up drilling rigs, and lift boats.
Engineering of onshore/industrial/infrastructures such as, land rigs, & API650 storages tanks (fuel, bitumen).
Standards, codes, & class rules like ASIC, ABS, DNV, API 650, API 4F, API RP 2A, AWS, QP specification and requirements.
Merit of various types of analyses such as In-place/In-service, lift, load out, transportation, sea fastening, impact, vibration, seismic, buckling, fabrication and erection, helideck and on-bottom stability analyses.
Managing all the aspects of the structural engineering which includes pre-bid engineering, detail engineering, production engineering, deliverable planning, and documentations.
Identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall cost.
Identifying & communicating change orders to project managers/commercial.
Planning and scheduling the deliverance of design reports & drawings.
Administering subcontract activities including framing sub-contract in conjunction with project requirement and the subcontractor clauses
Achieving project goal within budget and client needs
Problem sorting within project time frame, resolving disputes, claims, variations orders, other technical and commercial related issues efficiently.
Serving as a part of the team accountable for engineering support to estimation group for the project under bidding.
As a structural engineer, having good knowledge of design & analysis of Offshore Structures, such as
1. Fixed Wellhead Platform Design & Analysis,
2. Process/Production Platform Design & Analysis.
3. MOPU (Mobile Offshore Production Unit).
4. Subsea cages.
5. PLEM (Pipeline End Manifold).
6. Monopod, Tripod, 4-legged, 6-legged, 8-legged jacket designing.
7. Lifting conception, Design & Analysis.
8. Onshore Pipeline laying (design of bridges, foundations, etc)
9. FEED, Detailed Engineering Designs - Brown field (refurbishment/repair), Green field (New).
