Joined the massive BSS Transformation team of approximately 300+ personnel as Technical Project Manager @ STC on its ambitious and challenging 2-year transformation program that involved retiring a central system that managed the land line and data services from customer management, billing and inventory elements for over 2 decades. This program was a result of delivering the strategic objective of STC to provide customer centric view of all products and services. Some of my responsibilities included
1. Re-engineering the Change Management process establishing controls within the process and operationalize it, whose primary objective was to ensure that BSS Transformation scope is reviewed and updated at the agreed intervals with business and BSS transformation delivers as per the expectations of the business.
2. Lead and manage ICT projects and supporting specialist Project Teams, including operations, work programming, performance and change management.
3. Work with vendors (TCS/WIPRO/Oracle/Ericsson/Cognizant) on various stages of the project delivery that ensures vendors deliver as per the agreed standards and scope of the program.
4. Work extensively with key stakeholders on defining and enhancing the reporting process which ensure various levels of management are timely informed on the developments and deviations on the program delivery.
5. In addition to this primary role, I have provided extensive support to peers on focused areas (ORT/ Launch Checklists/ Performance Testing, Pre-cutover activities) of one of the extensive SDLC process that governs this transformation project.
