Key Projects: Construction of Asia Largest Residential and Commercial Estate Bahria Town Karachi, It is a privately-owned gated neighborhood under- construction in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan by the Bahria Town Group. The total cost of the project is a $10 billion.
The project was constructed by different internationals and multinationals Companies such as, Paragon Construction Company, China Railway Construction Corporation Ltd, Izhar Constructions, etc. and consists of Residential and Commercial Area, Ware house/Shops area, Golf Course, New Office Block, Grand Jamia Mosque which will be the world’s third largest, and the country’s largest cricket stadium designed by GMW Architects, and Saudi German Hospital Group is constructing a hospital on a 12 acre site for a cost of $300 million. On several occasions, site personnel dealt with such events as monsoon rains which turned the city streets into canals, massive rioting, terrorist attacks, religious protests, and city-wide labor strikes, all of which shut businesses and transportation down. Despite having limited access to the local markets and a fraction of the labor force present on the jobsite during these turbulent events, BTK continued moving forward utilizing all available resources. As a result, there was never a shut-down period at any time throughout the duration of construction.
The Bahria Town will be constructed on the current 44, 000 Acres of Land, just off the super highway. The project has been divided into several phases.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide HSE improvements on site.
-Conduct HSE Tool box talks, provide training to the workers.
- Site inspection on daily basis.
- Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE Inductions for theatre operations.
- Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations;
-Assist in developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
- Supervise on site doctors and medical emergency response preparation and implementation;
- Development, provide training and implements programs such as LOTO, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Hazardous Material Safety, Fire Safety, Assembling and Dismantling Scaffolding, PPE, Excavation Safety, Confined Space, etc.
- Environmental monitoring during construction period.
- Conducted site inspections for environmental and safety compliance.
- Assist with management of hazardous waste program.
- Assisted with the development and implementation of the environment, safety and health programs.
- Weekly and Monthly reporting to Project Safety Manager.
Key Projects: Construction of 62- storey Skyscraper Bahria Icon Tower located on the coast of the Arabian Sea in Karachi, Pakistan with Bahria Town Group.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
• Conduct Tool Box Talk meetings.
• Provide appropriate supervision, information and instructions to workers under their control.
• Check that all workers have the knowledge, training of safety measures to carry out to work.
• Develop and presents recommendations and advises all levels of management to ensure balance between productivity and the safety of team members, sub-contractors, and visitors.
• Development, provide training and implements programs such as, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Hazardous Material Safety, Fire Safety, Assembling and Dismantling Scaffolding, PPE, etc.
• Weekly and monthly reporting to Project Safety Manager.
• Conducted site inspections for environmental and safety compliance.
• Revise risk assessments and plans of action, and provide suggestions for which measures should be prioritized.
• Site inspection on daily basis.
• Establish specifications for HSE and fire protection equipment.
• Environmental monitoring during construction period.
• Review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
• Trains and carries out drills and exercises to manage emergency situations
• Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.
• Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
Key Projects: New Construction of LNG Terminal at Port Qasim, with STFA Construction Company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Weekly and monthly reporting to Project Safety Manager.
• Conducted site inspections for environmental and safety compliance.
• Assist with management of hazardous waste program.
• Develop and presents recommendations and advises all levels of management to ensure balance between productivity and the safety of team members, sub-contractors, and visitors.

• Establish specifications for HSE and fire protection equipment.
• Environmental monitoring during construction period.
• To ensure company’s Health & Safety policy is implemented consistently across the organization.
• Control of substances Hazardous to Health in a consistent and effective manner.
• Establish systems and provide leadership for the identification and monitoring of workplace
