Responsibilities
 Assurance of the quality works to be carried out on site as per project specs.
 Awareness about the company quality policy, procedure and department objectives.
 Report all quality issues/status, to the QA/QC manager and ensure the proper action is taken.
 Liaising with the senior engineer and other engineer’s managers to provide support and guidance.
 Review and monitor variations to work to mitigate time and cost impacts for any required change.
 Monitor the review of the contractor’s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or system. Monitor contractor’s compliance with approved Quality control plan.
 Monitor the project protocol set up for inspection of work by the inspection teams.
 Monitor safety aspects when dealing with civil installations.
 Provide reports on the progress of the aspects of the project.
 Assist in expediting of NOC’s from relevant authorities if they appear to be settled or in delay.
 Maintain full site records, including daily site diaries in an approved format, and formal monthly progress photography.
 Expedition of approvals from the client if it appears to be stalled or delaying the project.
 Liaising with management of various contractors to expedite submissions and approval process.
 Perform and evaluate tests confirming quality of civil finishes, building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil works as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statement.
 Field checks placement, location and quality of civil finishes, building structure components.
 Monitor contractor’s compliance with approved quality plan.
 Coordinating with the team on site to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
 Perform civil inspections and material inspections.
 Issue NCR’s to contractors and assist in taking corrective actions.
 Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and compliance with the requirements.
 Ensure that all Execution and Inspection are carried out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specification.
 Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of all submittals and testing inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc.
 Assisting with the inspection of completed works. Perform all other duties given by direct manager.
