Pharmaceutical Biotechnologist with six and half years of academic experience in teaching Microbiological and
Biotechnological Principles. I have expertise in performing cytotoxic assays and cell culture methods. A researcher with
around 35 national and international research articles with successfully filed two patents on the herbal formulations for
mycological and bacterial infections. Ph.D. Project focused on the enzyme production, purification, and characterization of
the microbial sources. I have sound knowledge about protein purification and in-silico characterization.
My aim of the Ph.D. was to produce, purify and characterize thrombolytic protein from microorganisms. Initially, several environment samples screened for proteolytic and thrombolytic protein using a screening media. Next, the strains identified were isolated and purified and Preserved for future use. Finally, fermentation media was designed and optimized to produce the thrombolytic protein. The protein produced was purified using techniques of salting out and chromatography. Lastly, the purified protein was characterized using molecular biology tools and identified using in-silico approach. The various computational algorithm used to compare the protein with available enzymes.
Under the guidance of Dr.Vipul .P Patel and Co-supervised by Dr.Maulik P.Suthar. Description: Mainly four derivatives sulphonamides, imines, quinoline 4-one, and thiazolidine 2 one, compounds were synthesized by students of our college. Antibacterial and Antifungal activity were screened, and I targeted the Breast and Lung cancer for the possible anti-cancer activity of the compounds.
Successfully Completed Bachelor of Pharmacy from Recognized University named the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.
