• Provide management with weekly and monthly HSE reports detailing projects HSE
status, accomplishment and concerns with mitigates.
• Review and monitor HSE Programs to ensure compliance with occupational health,
safety and environmental regulations, company and client policies and procedures
and recommend proactive and/or corrective actions
• Provide safety leadership by developing, coordinating and promoting safety
awareness and recognition initiatives.
• Participate in Accident Investigations to determine root causes, prepare reports of
findings for use in recommendation of preventive measures and the development of
safety programs.
• Monitor and record the most common worksite hazards and violations and prepare
report of observations and recommend corrective actions accordingly.
• Assess safety and health program performance of Contractors / Sub-Contractors by
worksite audits and inspections to identify trends through data analysis.
• To provide guidance to Contractor HSE staff how to monitor Scaffold
Erection/Dismantling work, Confined Space Entry, Lifting operation, Excavations, Hot
works and PTW procedures and requirements.
• Assessment and prevention of fire hazards. Organize and conduct fire drills, plant
evacuation drills and emergency response drills.
• Make sure that all APR (Contractor & Maintenance Crew) and his workers are
following safety procedure at job site as per permit requirement and EHS norms
• Identify, develop, coordinate and conduct safety training and other training as
assigned and as per TNA.
• Providing immediate first aid to workers at site.
• Review the Third party certificate of the equipment’s, equipment’s operator
License/Permit and other documents related to work through equipment at site.
• Conduct Training Programs to personnel regarding Safety Procedures specific to the
location.
• Perform, review and implement safe working procedure for Control of Hazardous
substance handling and Material handling by manual and mechanical means.
• Conducting of Safety Meetings and review of construction, operation and
maintenance Procedures as per Safety requirements.
• Give safety presentation with the objective to enhance the, Environment Health and
safety awareness to all workers.
• Develop the role of a safety culture change agent through understanding and
identifying norms that work against best safety practices.
• Participate on assigned committees and serve as a technical resource to health and
safety issues.
• Advise and consult with Operations and contractor personnel on health and safety
issues, concerns and hazards.
• Provide safety resource for investigations, purchasing safety services and PPE.
• Co-ordinate and conduct inspections/audits of facilities and activities to ensure
compliance to safe and good work practices in accordance to statutory requirement
of the Company and Regulation bodies act.
• Facilitate safety audits, communicating Company compliance and addressing
concerns and issues to appropriate departments/operations management.
• Educate the workers to maintain / follow strictly the safety procedures to avoid any
incidents during work.
• Carry out surprise checks on site to determine effectiveness and adequacy of system
for safety. Highlight the wrong practices being followed, which are not meeting safety
requirements & recommend corrective action.
• Protect monitor at site that all unfinished job such as open pit, overhead and other
area must have with safety sign board and safety barricading to avoid incident.
• Maintain all safety related documents such as Monthly Inspection Reports, Fire
fighting system (Fire Pumps, deluge system, foam system, sprinkler, fire

hydrants, )Extinguishers Reports, Investigation Reports, Injuries Reports etc.
• Make monthly inspection of moving equipment’s and fire extinguisher, ladder etc.
• Responsibility to display the important Safety information on the Safety Board at
several places.
