• Report directly to the Vice President of Information Technology and assist her in handling, implementing, following-up, and monitoring projects and IT tasks.
• Consolidate information on all ongoing and planned projects, and coordinate with different IT teams to keep track of projects progress.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and build intelligence dashboards to help in decision making
• Perform various business and financial data analysis based on KPIs and metrics
• Review and analyze IT-nature initiatives for all departments within AUB and make sure they are aligned with the mission and vision of the IT Department.
• Prioritize and categorize IT-nature projects based on the 10 key strategic initiatives of the IT Department
• Work closely with the Office of Strategy Management to continuously assess the performance of the IT Department
• Introduce new KPIs to benchmark the performance of the IT Department against comparable institutions
• Track and screen all incoming /outgoing correspondence including preparation and analysis of progress and financial reports, and ensure the follow up and resolution of issues/action items.
• Coordinate various functions of the IT Department, including communication, contract negotiation, and vendor management with local and international suppliers and vendors.
• Manage all software licenses across AUB, as well as prepare annual operating expenses and capital expenditure budget drafts.
• Ensure systematic and structured contact with stakeholders through verbal and written communication channels, events, and news dissemination.
• Manage and organize the logistics of meetings, presentations, workshops, as required and record minutes of meetings.
