Leading installations, testing, operations, and maintenance activities for low, medium, and high voltage systems. Supervising teams for various projects ranging from power plants, substations, chemical plants, heavy industries, universities, and high-rise buildings. Major equipment comprises Gas Insulated Substations, Switchgears, RMUs, Transformers, MCCs, Relays, Battery Banks, Panels, and Cables. Activities include but are not limited to:
Performing preventive maintenance as per the schedule and corrective maintenance in case of any breakdown ensuring safety
Switching operations in normal as well as emergency situations and ascertaining proper functioning of substations
Professionally directing & governing project team members and achieving proficiency & timely completion of assigned tasks
Preparing test protocols of equipment & preparing reports and standard operating procedures
Ordering & receiving supplies for installation and maintenance of electrical equipment; effectively liaising with vendors & clients
Utilizing technical manuals, system drawings & electrical schematics for troubleshooting equipment and systems
Managed electrical activities as a discipline lead. Performed electrical design for LV and MV (up to 13.8 kV) systems. Supervised installation and testing of Switchgears, Ring Main Units, Transformers, Motor Control Centers, Cables, UPS, Battery Chargers, Battery Banks, Relays, Distribution Boards, Lighting, Cable trays, earthing mesh, and AC/DC panels. Following are some of the highlights:
Led a team of engineers, electricians, laborers, and managed several projects through different phases from bidding, FEED, detailed designing, execution till commissioning
Focal point of coordination with clients such as Aramco, Petrofac, Petro-Rabigh, SWCC, subcontractors, and internal departments
Prepared and implemented project plans (Quality, Safety, Planning, Procurement) as per the company’s regulations and policies
Provided inputs for tendering purposes, invoicing proposals and minutely appraised bidding documents
Supervised essential documentation in line with contract requirements employing pre-approved templates; expeditiously engaged in formulation of claims and variation orders
Managed construction staff at site and rendered assistance for problem resolution by provision of approved drawings, technical clarifications etc.; conducted project reviews and created & presented executives with detailed reports
Construction of Clay Pipe Factory (180 Million SAR)
• Execution of the work according to approved shop drawings and schedule
• Installation and testing of MV substations and cables
• Preparation of Shop Drawings, installation of Electrical Equipment, Testing of Electrical equipment, Lighting Power, Low Voltage and Low Current Networks
• Material Take off, attending meeting with the client and consultant
• Preparing and approving RFI from the client
• Reporting Daily/Weekly/Monthly to the Managing Director
During the study, I had got scholarships 4 times for securing 1st position in the batch. I had done an internship at Hidada Ltd, where I studied about EPDS, automation and Protection.
I was rewarded a certificate for achieving 3rd position in my School in my higher Studies.
