Responsibilities Include:

As Sales Consultant, I am responsible for providing technical product expertise to sales, prospective customers and partners cross industries while ensuring customer satisfaction, and engage in the following tasks: develop and deliver high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations; Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits; Advise Oracle customers and partners on how to best use Oracle products and solutions; Respond to tenders; Interact with product development about future direction of Oracle products. •DBA Tasks in Company Departments and for Client Companies (installing and supporting, backing-up and restoring and replicating oracle databases and clients)

3. Provided assistance in the process of Process Definition in writing and technical drawing, in addition to documenting my department’s technical and business procedures.
Responsibilities Include:
•Installation, configuration and implementation Oracle Database and Redhat5 on Fujitsu Siemens Server
•Managing Red Hat 5 advanced clustered storage
•Managing hot standby replicated databases at main and the disaster recovery sites
•Managing Fujitsu Siemens Networker Module for Oracle enabling backup and restore operations of Oracle database on tapes using Networker and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN)
Key Accomplishments:
1. Was part of the IT team that was involved in the transition of LSM HQ from old site in Omar El Mokhtar to new site in Gergaresh (Tripoli)
2. Executed the Disaster Recovery/Contingency Plan of running from LSM DR Recovery site in Benghazi during the power outage in Tripoli LSM HQ.
3. Provided database and system administration consultancy and support services for several Libyan stock brokerage companies in Tripoli and Benghazi including Beltone, TSBC, Tadawol and MAL.
4. Acted as TEA computers’ sole representative in Libya, taking the roles of Marketing, Technical Presales, Sales and Finance as and when necessary.
To act as the owner of DR Site and to represent all TEA’s technical staff.
To act as level-one support to insure the integrity and healthy status of the site.
To fill out all site documents and insure their integrity.
To install servers H/W (assuming KVMs, network cables and power outlets are ready) into its location within the stand.
To prepare all SW and to put systems into operation.
To ask for editing or changing IP’s reference, customer equipment documents etc.
To use all automated and manual means to monitor equipment.
To insure DB replication process is running correctly for all customers.
To solve S/W problems.
To escalate S/W, H/W and network problems to the higher levels of support (if needed).
To reinstall servers after repairing.
To monitor the overall site environment (air conditioners, UPS’s etc.).
To inform concerned TEA staff members to get ready to handle the DR situation.
To insure Fall-back process is completed after the period that the customer is allowed to use DR site.
Key Accomplishments:
1. Was in charge of hosting and supporting Al-Alamia Brokerage Company in the DR Recovery site for 1 Business day in their DR Crisis (flooding of their HQ Servers Room) and restoring their operations in the main site after the DR Situation was over.
2. Was in charge of hosting and supporting Al-Jazeera Capital in the DR Recovery Site for eight months (176 business days) in their DR Crisis (Burning down of Arcadia Center - Capital HQ - during Revolution in 2011) and restoring their operations in the main site after the DR Situation was over.
3. Was in charge of hosting and supporting Blom Egypt Securities company in the DR Recovery site for 1 Business day in their DR Crisis (flooding of the main street and shutting down the building’s Power and Water supplies in their HQ) and restoring their operations in the main site after the DR Situation was over in the weekend.
