United Mining Industries Company (UMI) is a joint-venture of GCC’s leading companies (Al-Muhaidib and Rashid Al-Rashid) . UMI is a manufacturing company dealing in gypsum and Fiber Cement products .
Main responsibilities include MIS Strategic Planning and Execution, MIS Infrastructure Mgmt, Implementation of new Technologies, Corporate data security, IT budgeting, ROI Analysis, MIS procurement and Vendors management.
During my stay I established the MIS infrastructure in Head-office, Plant administration and factories.
Implemented the fiber-optics based network infrastructure for the 4 production plants, 8 control rooms and 35+ factory operating units.
Led the project Implementation and successful execution of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 project within planned budget and time with following modules.
Finance, Enterprise Asset Mgmt, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Quality control, HR and Payroll, Master Planning, Mobile app BI dashboards through Power BI, Enterprise portal
Some critical infrastructure implementations include:-
1- Primary data center, AZURE Cloud D/R site VMs, deployed AX2012 R3 over Azure.
2- Corporate security (TrendMicro, veritas) and Firewalls(fortinet, sophos),
3- UMI's Private Cloud and VPN on rubrik appliance for content mgmt and operational documents execution and backups ( veritas)
4- 400+ surveillance cameras across the company, visible worldwide, over UMI Cloud.
5- Exchange Server 2016 for emails.
Al-Haddad Telecom was the largest mobile phone distributor and Service partners of NOKIA Inc. of its time in KSA. The roles and responsibilities include IT Infrastructure and Project Mgmt of ERP. IT strategies and planning of new projects, budgets and Training. Manage third party suppliers and IT solutions.
Successful implementation of ORACLE E-Business Suite with oracle partner with following module.
(a)Asset Management (b) Finance (c)Procurement (d) Travel & Expense Management . Operational role: Project Manager.
Successful In-House development and Implementation of Retail Point of Sales, Back office and Inventory management for outlets, centralized Price control, promotions and discounts, stocks analysis, customized alerts, replenishment, Sales KPIs and workforce performance.
Successful development and implementation of software (STAR5) for service management which is an enterprise wide application based on Oracle Database and Microsoft Platform that includes Service Mgmt Processes, repair cycle across service network, call center and complaint mgmt, warranty Integration, Inventory.
Other Modules developed for the company ERP:
Training Center Software, HRMS, attendance and payroll system.
Successfully implemented corporate network across the kingdom (HO & 80+ Outlets)
Implementation of the Data Center .

IT Infrastructure Manager.
Service Zone (sub-company for al-haddad telecom) was the regional repair factory for mobile phone repairs. I led and implemented the in-house developed ERP and CRM solutions for the company, before commencing its operations in Jan2007.
Systems and Solutions is one of the leading software producing company in Pakistan. During my stay I have worked on various projects and modules of the applications designed for the company clients. Some major projects are as follows:-
Askari commercial bank e-banking support services. Modules worked on include
i- Bills retrieval and Payments
ii- Profiles and user information
iii- Interfaces and EJB Class modules
Appointed as development team leader for E-commerce web portal and Order mgmt of the Denmark based company client Mascot Industries (PVT) LTD
Platforms used during the development, JSP, Ejb, Java Servlets, ASP, Visual Basic DCOM, Visual C++ as Languages and Oracle8 and SQL Server as Database Servers.
• Placed on the dean’s Honor Role twice for showing the excellent academic performance throughout the whole semester each time. • Appointed as the first all Pakistan Speed programming contest help at Pak-AIMS Lahore.
