Structural analysis and the detailed design of all forms of civil engineering structures like concrete building, earth retaining structures, tower crane foundations, crane frame and gantry girder, precast building using hollow core slab, elevated steel platform, cladding support structure, precast boundary wall, buried pipe etc.

•Prepare and check all types of design calculations submitted by consultants, before submitting to clients design department.

•Prepare and review shop drawings prepared in house and by sub contractors, working level drawings for sites.
•Altering the drawing as per site conditions and do the necessary structural analysis for those changes.
•Supervise and coordinate civil engineers and draftspersons.
•Maintain soft copy of drawings for future references.



Achievements:

•Save cost by preparing design calculation for additional works and for specific site related condition.
•Prompt other engineers regarding proper practice and understanding of Engineering Code like BS and ACI.

Existing Structure Investigation Certificate (ESIC) - Moving forward all ESIC's must be accompanied by calculations which are provided by the Contractor. To check the calculations and determine whether the structure is adequate or not.
•Detailed Design Approval : Foundation Design check for both Green field and Roof top Tower foundation and approve of detail designs to ensure whether they are adequate or not.
•Shop drawing check and approval: Checking the GF and RT tower shop drawings provided by tower suppliers.

•Construction quality improvement meeting: Arrange monthly meeting with regional construction managers and construction engineers regarding site specific construction problem and respective civil engineering solution and development of civil engineering judgment.
•Meeting with client regarding design issues: Arrange meeting with Client regarding special site related problem, design calculation and proper design consideration.
•Tower erection: check and approved the erection of tower whether it is erected as per detailed shop drawing or not.
•Site Acquisition: Assisting site acquisition team regarding technical issue of site and working on site to agree/arbitrate on any disagreements of a technical nature.

•Provided conception and made spreadsheet regarding the suitability of existing structure for the installation of tower on it.
•Applying advance geotechnical formula saved cost by 20-25 percent for green field Tower foundation using pile.
•Development and application of composite detail for strengthening under designed R.C.C structural element.
•Developed new format for checking existing structure whether suitable for roof top tower foundation or not.
•Modified roof top tower foundation reinforcement detail.
•Developed new connection detail of column rebar where rebar are not expose above roof level.

•Participating on TSS’s, take the lead during site visits (Acquisition process)
and they discuss the technical solution with the parties involved,
•Manage the technical solution in such a way that the most cost efficient solution is found.
•Validation of drawings made by the architects based on the technical
visit, continuously update plan for specific single site kickoff meet tings prior to the site construction.
•Preparing the model site drawing and standard detail drawing.
•Training and managing the design subcontractors regarding design philosophy,
•Loading and standard reinforcement detail.
•Responsible for checking approving the site specific detail design and drawing.
•Assisting site acquisition team regarding technical issue of site and working on site to agree/arbitrate on any disagreements of a technical nature.


Achievements:

•Detect and solved regarding wrong concept of welding detail between base plate and stub-leg of tower.
•Prompt the designers to realize the importance and do the necessary corrections of every connection and critical sections from tower le and base plate joint to pile cap and pile top bottom joint.
•Prompt the designers to reduce the no of gusset plates used for connecting redundant and main members, which made the shop drawing simple and reduced weight of tower.
