Mentoring the technical team in software products and technologies for designing and developing high quality solutions

• Conducting training and coaching sessions for Health GIS web portal to end-users. As such taught end-users in how to use different tools such as coordinate searching, distance estimation, directional guidance through compass, etc.
• Supervised and maintained three computer labs, (Server, Switches, and 100 plus Workstations). RFID hardware/ software stock inventory and movement record. Provide support to faculty member’s installations windows7, 8, 10/ Mac/ Linux other open source software’s Programme.
• Development and regular maintenance of faculty as well as departments websites of the faculty of public health and tropical medicine.
• Designed and update social media platform (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
• Study of and mapping business processes to design and develop web-based Electronic Health Record system for medical camps held under the auspices of College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Development and Implementation of web based Electronic Health Record system (Agile Technology) for two medical camps held under the umbrella of College of Public Health and Tropical Medicine Jazan University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. (February 2018, 2019).
• Development of Android Mobile Application Mindful for awareness raising of mental illnesses among communities in Kingdom of Saudi Arab. (February, 2019)
• Development of Android Mobile Application Scabies CareZone for awareness raising and enhancing health self-care practice to protect community members from Scabies in Kingdom of Saudi Arab. (April 2018).
• Ensuring I.T support, systems design and development, data base development and maintenance as per requirement of different units of the faculty.
• Teaching courses like Geographical Information Systems, Project Management, Systems Analysis and Design, Healthcare Information systems, Networks and security issues etc.

i. Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for application & system security.
ii. SOPs for backup & disaster recovery procedures; supervising / monitoring activities related to implementation of paperless environment in Planning Commission.
iii. Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (PMES) software.
iv. Research, design and development of new training programs and materials based upon the I.T, needs of staff. As such, I am involved in: preparing training materials eg, user manuals.
v. Preparation of hand outs, MCQs and similar documents; preparation and design of on line tests of trainees.
vi. Conducting training of the senior officers of Planning Commission; preparing training schedule and arranging trainings.
vii. Writing scripts for preparation of CBTs.
viii. Appraisal of Development Projects of IT Sectors.
viiii. Update the M&E database, Aid Project and other automated information management system from time to time.
, Prepare regular reports of the M&E activities, Maintain a filing system for all M&E activities, reports and analyses in hardcopy, and on hard disk and backups.

i. Assisting Director in supervising / monitoring activities related to implementation of paperless environment in Planning Commission.

vi. Preparation of hand outs, MCQs and similar documents.
vii. Preparation and design of on line tests of trainees.
viii. Conducting training of the officers of Planning Commission.
ix. Preparing training schedule & conducting with other officers arranging trainings; writing scripts for preparation of CBTs.
x. I am also involved in compiling basic/research data required for preparation of project document, RFP etc for “Build Pakistan Program”.

Description: To provide and maintain Networking Facilities in Ministries / Departments, Including Web Development and Software Support. 10 Ministries / Divisions are being benefited from this project.

Achievements: 24 People Recruited and working in different Ministries / Departments.

Major responsibilities included:

i. Worked with PCB as a Project Manager/ Administrator in Islamabad from Sep. 2005 to Feb.2007.
ii. Mainly responsible for coordinating the system administration support being provided by PCB to the Ministries.
iii. Also provided coordination & support in preparing Standard Operating Procedures for PCB’s system administrators that could be adopted/ implemented in the Ministries.
iv. Assisted PCB management in keeping resolving issues and follow-up of the decisions for resolution of the issues.
v. During my stay I have managed preparation of Computer Based Tutorials (CBTs) which included script writing, recording, editing, preparation of CDs, labels etc.
vi. Delivering lectures to employees of different government, departments. Including,
Prime Minister Secretariat, Ministry of Cabinet Division, National Assembly of Pakistan, Ministry of Establishment Division, Ministry of Finance Division, Police Academy and special classes in Pakistan Computer Bureau.

i. Worked with PCB as a Networking/Systems Administrator, in Islamabad from May 2005 to Sep. 2005.
ii. Coordination of various tasks during preparation of training course materials to ensure that deliverables are completed on time.
iii. Facilitating team members by acting as an interface to resolve issues arising during the assignments.
iv. Delivering lectures to employees of different government departments and government schools and colleges.
v. Performing system and network administration consisting of tasks such as ensuring that the system is operational.
vi. Keep backups; perform configuration when required; implement policies to ensure that systems remain secure; etc.
