Duties do not only include the traditional responsibilities of an executive assistant, but the role is more wide-ranging. In addition to ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business, the role includes also some major responsibilities for payroll, production, maintenance, engineering, construction, purchasing, finance, HR, legal affairs and IT. Achievements:
1. Participated in the following mega projects:
Creamitta (Chocolate) Jars new production line.
Readymade Tahini production line.
Halawa spread production line.
New Sesame line (cleaning, drying, roasting & grinding sesame).
Overall factories construction (civil work, ventilation and electrical work).
2. Created new system for supplying, keeping, consuming stationary for the sector staff and managed to make control on stock out and yearly savings of around 50, 000 EGP, while covering and meeting all staff needs.
3. Managed to solve suppliers (spare parts and machinery suppliers) reoccurring problem of delayed payments by creating strict updated system of monitoring and tracking suppliers invoices and cheques.
Job description:
• Providing specialized administrative support, applying critical thinking to aid and assist the direct boss/ employer.
• Providing effective execution of duties that require a high degree of judgment, using best practices in business administration.
• Exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solution.
• Gaining and maintaining a general working knowledge of all departments within the organization in order to handle inquiries or redirect them to the appropriate department.
• Assisting in managing and completing various projects including negotiating prices, opening LCs, shipping goods/machineries, clearing goods from customs; and starting up projects.
• Assisting in performing basic background research and analysis on specific issues as required, producing documents, briefing papers, reports, presentations, charts, timeline projects, emails, memorandums.
• Coordinating activities internally within the executive management team and various departments; externally with various business partners.
• Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained in all transactions.
• Arranging internal and external meetings, agendas, conference calls, coordinating travel arrangements and arranging accommodation and pickups for VIP visitors.
• Ensuring accurate encoded filing of office documents.
• Recording office expenditure and managing the budget.
Further to accomplishing the regular daily tasks of an office manager, the function involved significant part in assisting the vice president & franchise director in developing company business, expanding and enlarging market share, and achieving targeted premises profitability. I worked closely with different company departments, maintaining professional relationships with all levels of management across the organization.
Besides assisting the general manager in daily operation, I was also responsible for accomplishing some tasks related directly to sales, marketing, ceremonies, events, rides maintenance finance and HR.
Studied English Literature and English Language (some of the received courses are Drama, Poetry, Translation, Linguistics, Phonetics)
