Scope:
Nile Air Security General Manager is responsible and is accountable for implementing and maintaining Nile Air’s security program and shall serve as the Nile Airs primary contact for security-related activities and communications with the ECAA and foreign authorities and to manage in-house and out sourced teams handling Aviation security, physical security and H&S.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Will be the owner of Nile Air Security program in the sense of Implementation, Developing and maintaining Nile Air Security Programs in the light of the designated legislations as well collecting all needed approvals for the security programs from the concerned local or foreign authorities.
• Conducting all needed security and safety trainings and briefings as well assembling proper training plan.
• Developing security standards and practices to provide line management with direction and control.
• Ensuring effectiveness of Nile Air security program by regular evaluation and inspection.
• Observes all measures and procedures implemented by Nile Air security staff and contracted security agencies in Cairo and out stations to ensure compliance with NILE AIR security program and the regulatory requirements.
• Effective liaison with governments, authorities and law enforcement agencies.
• Ensuring an effective risk analysis, threat assessment and response capability.
• Initiating special security measures during/ instances of increased threat levels.
• Providing specialized advice to senior and line management in all security functions, protection, intelligence, information and investigations.
• Participating in implementing contingency plan, which contains measures and procedures in case of hijacking, threats and procedures when suspect/ found a suspect item on board the aircraft during the flight.
• Securing the safety of passengers and their belongings, NILE AIR staff and NILE AIR facilities at all airports.
• Protecting the common fundamentals from lost, fraud, intentional damages and other criminal acts.
• Auditing and inspecting the contracted security agencies, airports, vendors and suppliers.
• Establishing documented auditing and inspection plans in coordination with the airport departments.
• Participating in the establishment, planning, implementation and maintaining follow up over planned and unplanned local and international searches, which are applied over the security functions, local and external stations, in accordance with the civil aviation rules and regulations, with the submission of concerned reports.
• Participating in civil aviation conferences, committees and meetings related to security.
• Reviewing all contracts of the security services providers contracted for local and international stations and ensure the implementation of appropriate security procedures required by Nile Air.
