During my career, I have completed my residency in Sachsen-Anhalt and acquired additional qualifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at IVT Lüben, courses in AMDP at the University of Rostock, and Forensic Psychiatry. My expertise includes conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for my patients. I pride myself on my ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers, as I understand the importance of fostering strong relationships and working closely with all members of the care team to achieve treatment goals. I am also well-versed in the up-to-date method of treating treatment- resistant depression with esketamine. Furthermore, I have a high level of professional experience in the early diagnosis of dementia and differential diagnosis for neurodegenerative diseases. I have also worked extensively with addiction therapy, adolescent patients with dual diagnosis of early schizophrenia and addiction, and performed psychological tests for early diagnosis of autism, Asperger syndrome, and more. I stay up to date with the latest developments in psychiatry by attending a weekly journal club for psychiatry and teaching our young doctors, as well as leading them in on-call shifts in psychiatry.
