(Achievements: The pioneer mining manager that developed Akamkpa Quarry which comprises two separate quarries approximately 3km apart. The total quarry operation moves approximately 3 million metric tons of materials annually. This is achieved using more than 120 employees and 30 pieces of heavy mobile equipment. The primary purpose of the role is to effectively lead and coordinate pit operations and Quarry Operations Planning teams to ensure operational targets are achieved, target tonnage is quarried safely, efficiently, and to quality specifications without compromising the Quarry Plan and integrity of assets.
• Constituted the company team in the development of a structured community development agreement
• Presented to the Technical Review Panel at the Federal Ministry of Environment Abuja on details of the project and its Environmental Sustainability Plan
• Team Lead on Planning, Development, and Production of Aggregate Stones and Dispatch of Crushed Aggregates to Different Project Sites.
• Partook in Impact Monitoring and Mitigation Exercise conducted by Federal Ministry of Environment and Represented the Company
• Implementation of Cost Reduction Strategy in Quarry Operations
• Sectional 9.1 (Approved Responsible Officer for Explosives).
• Seconded to Akamkpa Quarry Limited, a subsidiary of Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Co Ltd as a mining engineer in charge of the development and production of its granite quarry project in Akamkpa LGA, Cross River State Nigeria.

 Participated in a simulation called Exploring Preconditioning Solutions for In-
Situ Rock Mass” April 15 to May 2019
The simulation goal was to brainstorm new technologies and approaches for preconditioning of hard rock masses to deliver permeability and mineral liberation to enable in-situ leaching of copper ores.
 Participated in research to analyze top trends that are likely to impact the mining industry in the coming decade (October 2019)
 Participated in a Joint Wikistrat and Sandpit Innovation Simulation called “Digital Mining in the Age of Social Awareness” aimed at exploring how ESG and digital factors combine and shape the mining industry in the next decade (February 22nd to 28th 2021)
 Participated in a Joint Wikistrat and Idoba’s Simulation called “The Future of Work(ers) in the Mining Industry which mapped the main drivers that are likely to shape the future of work in the mining industry and explored how they are likely to shape it. (October 2021)

Team that developed Line 3 & 4 mines operations ensuring the production of 40, 000 tons of ROM (including limestone and additives). I passed excellently in the last Combined Management Auditors Training for QMS, EMS and OHSAS held from 6th August 2017 to 12th August 2017 at Dangote Academy in DCP Objana, Kogi State. I also worked as a Mines budget team member from 2016 to 2019 and ensured that targets are achieved based on requirements of annual mines budgets and plant periodical requirements, Supervision and completion of major ramp (haul road) to link Crusher Platform at C, thereby minimizing the lift of materials and lead of dump truck from Northside Mining Block to Crusher)
• Worked with the Mines ISO team and regulatory team to ensure ISO certification of Line 3 &4 Mines operations
• Participated in ISO system Audits from 2017 to 2019 and audited processes in different departments
• Mines Safety Marshall ensured zero-accident was achieved
• I have worked closely with all sections in mines department operations, MIS, HEMM, and stores.

Generated short and long-range mine plans, open-pit optimization, pit
design, and pushback design.
• Developed mine material production schedule for both open-pit operations.
• Assisted with portions of the permit to mine applications and permit to mine
amendments
• Developed and analyzed material haulage and mine equipment.

(Achievement: Part of the team that remediated lead-poisoned affected villages in
Anka and Bukkuym Local Government Areas of Zamfara State and worked with
various international organizations who were parts of the projects and developed
safe mining practices models for artisanal and small-scale gold mining)
• Supervised, planned, and conducted fire and explosion investigations.
• Reviewed and recommended approval / non-approval of mines'
developmentplans.
• Supervised contractors and staff working on-site and pit development projects
• Explored, sampled, and tested potential future mineral reserves tailings and lean ore
stockpiles
