In this position I am responsible for leading all the activities related to running business for the brand in India. I have set up the structure for the company to scale from one restaurant when I joined to six currently and three more opening planned by June this year . I have hired and trained five department heads/managers who directly report into me and help me with all the back end and front end assignments. From setting up a strong supply chain to increasing the sale I have improved the company profitability by around eight percent . While opening new stores I have helped reduce the initial investment by around 12 % and therein help company open more store . In India I have opened three stores in Cochin, one in Thrissur, one in Trivandrum and one in Quilon. The company also has restaurant business in Abu Dhabi and Dubai .
I joined as an Area Manager and soon moved to heading the region with responsibility of Operations, Training, Supply Chain, QA and BD . In four year’s time I was heading some of the important verticals like HR, Operations, Commissary, Training and Marketing for the brand with HR spread across three brands - Papa Johns, Chilies and The Great Kabab Factory .In my tenure as New Store Opening Manager with Papa John’s I have opened 25 restaurants in two years time which included identifying the site, project and development to new store opening and running it profitably thereon.The restaurants are in New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Baroda and Bangalore.
Summary of role -Handling all daily operations including promotional activities, interaction with the customers, strategic planning. Taking care of all employees (50 at various levels) right from selecting, hiring, training, scheduling & providing corrective & positive feedback to further promote & groom them into self-disciplined, successful individuals. Making accurate daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly projections for sales trends, transaction trends. Hold effective management meetings to exchange ideas on any operational obstacles & giving necessary inputs or directives to the managers for individual growth & experience. Making, analyzing & reconciling monthly profit & loss statements & formulate corrective action plans by setting objectives for self & team. Conducting annual performance reviews, on one-on-one basis. To plan & execute all preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and planned maintenance programs for the store
I was part of the core group which started operations in India . I was part of the team which helped open many Pizza hut restaurants and train the team for those particular stores in north and west India My job profile at pizza hut included customer service, opening new stores and training.
