Gathering data through interview and questionnaire by talking to employees of the Ethiopian Road Authority (ERA) on the type of change they obtained from the training sessions they attended in Alemgena Training Center
This was a survey carried out to study the level of corruption in Ethiopia. It was sponsored by the World Bank, and my role was interviewing government officials, business owners and household owners and completing questionnaires in English.
My duties and responsibilities included:
1.Teaching English language courses: English for New Ethiopia Courses to students in Grades from 9 to 12
2.Preparing supplmentary teaching materials
3.Preparing and conducting tests to assess the performance of the students
4.Arranging English language workshop for high school teachers and training on introducing the newly published English textbooks to primary school teachers
As can be proved from my official transcript, I completed my M.A program with a cummulative GPA of 3.77. As a result, I was chosen for a teaching post at Zegha Business College, and I have also had the opportunity of taking part-time classes in Addis Ababa University. What is more, I enjoyed the previlege of serving as a trainer who was responsible for arranging and offering training on English language and report writing skills to employees in The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, the leading financial organization in Ethiopia.
