Controller:
• Plan, manage, coordinate and implement the monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes and procedures.
• Provide cover for the preparation, validation and submission of monthly VAT returns for Emirates Hospitality Groups.
• Provision of advice on Value Added Tax to the organization as well as ensuring the organization to be up-to-date on changes in tax legislations.
• Maintain the Proper record of input and output of Value added Tax (VAT) Register the company under the FTA for VAT.
• Already process and complete the Group registration for Value Added Tax for Group. Having Good knowledge of Federal Decree law No 8 of
2017 on Value Added Tax.
• Maintain proper record and file all the vendor and customer’s VAT certificate in the system.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports in accordance with the imposed policies, IFRS and established procedures.
• Prepare Reconciliations (Bank, G.L and Balance Sheet) & Supporting Intercompany for closure works on each month.
• Independently handling the external & internal quarterly and annual audits.
• Manage the quarterly and year-end audit and directs the Team in resolving audit queries and VAT issues.
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual FS along with the relevant notes to FS subject for review and approval of the external auditors.
• Support Head of Accounting department to monitor of company expenses by doing Expense Analysis and Variance Reports.
• Prepare daily cash position report to ensure the availability of funds to support the company's day-to-day operation.
• Responsible for coordinating with the banks for all bank-related queries and issues and be able to resolve them in due time.
• Review of payments and journal entries before forwarding to the CFC for final approval.
• Supervise the work of accounting employees engaged in accounting functions (receivables, payables, and GL).
• Direct, manage and provide immediate support to the Team on a day to day basis.
• Develop and monitor all procedures prescribing the manner in which financial accounting transactions are to be recorded and reported by the
company supports budget and forecasting activities.
• Collaborates with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives. Advises staff regarding the handling of
non-routine reporting transactions.
• Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
• Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
• Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.

• Handling month closing procedure including payroll JV, Provisions (Air Ticket/ Gratuity / leave Encasement) JV, Other JV, Prepaid, Accruals JV
preparation and posting in system. Independently handling the external & internal quarterly and annual audits.
• Preparing Monthly GL reconciliation for balance sheet Accounts and intercompany accounts for profit transfer.
• Supervising accounts receivable, Payable, GC cost control to streamline daily and monthly activity and report.
• Reviewing and processing monthly payroll and WPS on monthly basis.
• Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
• Responsible for managing the accuracy and timeliness of payments to our numerous vendors. Paying vendors by monitoring discount
opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase orders, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation;
insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase amendments. Substantiates financial transactions by
auditing documents.
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Reconcile vendor statements monthly in order to
ensure that the account is kept current.
• Print and submit cheques with supporting documentation to the Controller and the General Manager for their signatures.
• Verifies receipt of all materials listed on invoices and statements received from vendors and suppliers. Posts/inputs invoice data into accounting
record daily
• Do daily deposit for the company, prepare change orders and assist with bank counts.
