Responsible for leading a team of 10 consultants and is responsible for planning and implementing IT Strategies to ensure an uninterrupted operations and managing BAU in the organisation
Managing specific projects for units to fix gaps in their existing business processes and enhancing the overall functionality
Identifying potential vendors for implementing ERP, evaluating their proposals, negotiating, contracting and supporting them to ensure seamless implementation across all business units
Objective:
To lead Partner Engagement, contracting, contract governance, contract delivery, STRAP, AOP Planning, and IT Program Management.
To lead Central IT Operations - this includes integrated ERP Applications Support, DC Operations, Networks, and Information Security & Applications. Also included are SLA and KPI formulation with measurement and to lead world class IT Operations using ITIL-V3 standards.
Principal Accountabilities:-
A. IT Operations, Governance and Maintenance
• Prepare adherence guidelines for to realize the optimum benefit of the Service Level Agreements
• Be the SPOC for Management structures dealing with escalations and related procedures.
• Be the SPOC for Program Management Team and be responsible for managing engagements at CXO levels.
• Lead the initiatives on Partner Engagement, contracting, contract governance and contract delivery.
B. Best in class Service Management:-
• Develop and implement policies and standards as pet ITIL Service Management practice for IT Applications and Operations vertical in coordination with the CIO.
• Plan for smooth functioning of all IT operations and ensure that the applications are up and running all the time.
• Prepare budget forecasts in coordination with head IT and recommend appropriate investment in operational systems depending upon the business strategy and scalability- employee forecast, business forecast and application user base.
• Be the custodian for ownership of IT AOP, IT planning, and IT Program Management.
C. Complete ERP Applications Support and Operations:-
• Actively manage the IT operations and integrated ERP applications, allocation of IT assets etc for effective utilization and enhanced cost savings.
• Analyze the utilization and performance of the IT applications and proactively satisfy the user requirements without hampering their deliverables.
Worked as an ERP Specialist and was responsible for ERP implementation for a client ZAC - Saudi Arabia
Responsible for identifying the strategic and operational constraints, challenges and turn them into business inputs to tailor the ERP solutions
Recommended optimised processes in CRM, Supply Chain Management and Shared Services, enabling an ERP solution that would help the client achieve operational excellence
Defined and articulated a technology roadmap for enabling technology and managing a hassle free post implementation usage
Created and finalised the fitment for the new Oracle modules matching the Oracle Applications
Helped the company register a reduction of cost by 24% in raw materials and inventory management post implementation of the ERP
Successfully manged the task of transitioning the Application Support for ALCOA acting as the Single Point of Contact with the client
Enabled the completed transition of the Application Support help desk from onsite to offshore
Holds the reputation of introducing offshore support services, offshore development and CEMLIs
Reduction in the overall cost of IT Applications was registered to an extent of 2.2% after successful implementation of the first phase of the Offshore support
