Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER) is responsible for refining operations which covers the crude oil and condensate refining, supply of petroleum products and production of granulated sulphur.

• I am working on the Ruwais Refinery expansion project worth USD 10 billion, where we have a target of recruiting 1, 500 employees for the new refining facility which is almost double the size of the existing refinery producing 417, 000 bpd.

• Handling the initial part of our recruitment process sourcing - selection,

• Identifying geographical locations of specific talent in line with our selection criteria and compensation packages.
• Coordinating and arranging weekly interview committees.
• Coordinating and ensuring the timely processing of Visas, travel/accommodation arrangements for Candidates scheduled for interview and arranging the pre-medical examination at ADNOC clinic.
• Explaining candidates the terms, conditions and benefits related to Takreer’s employment policies and procedures.
• Supervising the ADNOC manpower agreement and ensuring integrity in all dealings with the recruitment agencies.
• Handling all contract hire employee issues based on the ADNOC Manpower Agreement.

• I have worked on assignments for temporary staffing, permanent placement, and outsourcing.
• Main focus on the Oil & Gas and Engineering vertical with a wide range of clients involved in the upstream, downstream, PMC, EPC activities. In addition to that I am also responsible to coordinate our Retail, IT and Finance verticals as a point of contact in Qatar.

• To understand clients’ recruitment & staffing processes and offer suitable solutions
• Understand client’s industry and identify markets where suitable candidates can be found.
• Recruiting & sourcing candidates as per the job descriptions using various methods such as Advertising in newspapers, websites (Portals: Monster, Rig zone, LinkedIn, Facebook), networking.
• Screening CVs & short-listing candidates by telephone, face to face interviews.

Al Mansoor Group is a UAE based company which was established in 1971.Over this time the company has been actively involved in various services to the oil and gas industry and have evolved into a high technology specialist group.

I was working for their staffing and recruitment operations, where we had 1, 700 employees on our payroll, working at all levels (skilled/semi-skilled/unskilled) both internally and with our clients based in different locations within UAE.

The highlight of my experience at Al Mansoor Group was the recruitment campaign in Syria & Jordan where we recruited 70 senior & mid level staff in 2 weeks for Takreer’s green diesel project.

During my tenure with Al Mansoor group I was seconded to GASCO on contract employment basis for a period of 6 months. This gave me hands on exposure in a process plant and knowledge of the operations in a National oil Companies.
Human Resource Generalist/ QMS Coordinator*

• Recruitment
 Responsible for internal and outsourced recruitment.
 Advertising job vacancies (newspapers, websites networking, international agencies, professional networking: Linked in; Facebook)
 Evaluation of CVs as per the job descriptions
 Conducting telephonic, video conference and face to face interviews.
 Short list candidates and coordinate the selection process with line managers & GM/ Clients.

 Verifying candidates visa status and eligibility to work in UAE
 Negotiating terms of employment & devise offers in coordination with the line managers & GM/ Clients.
 Visiting clients for feedback and forecasting future requirements.
 Manpower planning (Mobilization and demobilization of employees to/from client’s sites and providing leave relievers when necessary.

 Manage periodic appraisals of direct group employees
 Manage internal & external communication such as bonuses & increments, salary / experience certificates, salary transfer letters for banks etc.

 Conducting induction training.
 Training employees on company's Quality Management System (QMS) as per ISO 9001:2008 Standards.

• Quality Management System (Management Rep.)
 Implementation of the QMS based on ISO 9001:2008.
 Maintaining and updating company's QMS Documentation.
 Preparing annual audit plan
 Conducting internal audits
 Awareness training

• Maintenance Technical Assistant/QMS focal point (GASCO)
• Arranging Panel Assessment workshops & reports for internal promotions
• Conducting Maintenance Department employee ‘open discussion sessions’ and communicate/ follow up the action points.
• Reporting Quality Management System monthly performance status to the Maintenance Manager
• Preparing internal audit plan for maintenance sections
• Coordinating & conducting internal audits with the plant MR.
• Maintenance department employee relations & administrative support (arranging transport, coordinate food & beverage services for Maintenance events, shutdown & meetings.
