Project : Kuwait International Airport Terminal-2 Constrcution Project

Project description : The Construction of New Passenger Terminal Building will significantly enhance the status of the airport as the gateway to the State of Kuwait. Replacing the existing Terminal, this world class building will provide passenger capacity for 25 million passengers per annum.
• In coordination with Structural engineer, performing Civil inspections and quality checks on contractors’ Civil works which includes steel reinforcement placement, formworks, roof structural elements etc.
• Taking part in 3rd party testing of Civil works as per the ITP for quality control.
• Supervision of Civil activities, such as concrete casting, Work progress and Health and safety.
Project: Kazma Camp Kuwait National Guard Construction Project
Project description: Kazma Camp is a project with an area of 1.2 million sq.m for Kuwait National Guard located at subiya road, North of Kuwait which includes the development of multiple facilities for the army.
• Temporary assignments undertaken to assist the SSHIC team in supervision of civil works.
Construction of enabling works for of the boubyan bank headquater project.
Project : Maintenance services for Kuwait Oil Company premises - part 1 (north ahmedi)
• Preparing work methodology and planning schedule by sequencing activities.
• Estimation of quantity of resources, cost of resources, and procurement of resources.
• Managing and directing resources to activities on critical path and maintaining schedule.
• Supervision of maintenance works including routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and measured maintenance as per quality standards agreed in the contract.
• Preparing and reviewing work orders for deliverable items.
• Attending meetings with client representatives and addressing their needs as per contract.
• Preparing variation orders and its submission to the client.
• Maintaining a healthy safe environment during the execution of works.
Project : Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway Construction Project (Main link RA/140)
• In coordination with senior engineer, Studying and analyzing structural shop drawings such as concrete outline, sub-structure and super-structure reinforcement, longitudinal pre-stressing and contractor's construction methodology for substructure and super structure bridge elements.
• Analyzing and reviewing post-tensioning stressing elongation reports and verifying reports within acceptable tolerance.
• Preparing Inspection and test plan (ITP) and performing acceptance inspections for the completed works.
• Liaising with contractor regarding the quality of works.
• Collaborate with the material inspector to analyze construction materials as per approved specifications and review material test reports.
• Supervision of civil construction activities.
• Coordination with other departments for concurrent execution of works.
• Reviewing survey reports and its compliance to project plan.
• Monitoring design changes to shop drawings and reviewing its effect on the project.
Project : Jamal Abdul Nasser street Development project (RA/167)
• Planning, executing, and supervision of steel reinforcement bars installation and post-tensioning works at elevated highway in-situ diaphragms.
• Analyzing post-tensioning shop drawings and tendon stressing sequence.
• Preparing work method statements and reviewing civil shop drawings pertaining to actual site conditions.
• Calculation of post-tensioning strands elongation requirement and performing stressing of tendons as per design.
• Planning and performing stressing Jack calibration tests through 3rd party and seeking a calibration certificate.
• Review and analyzing actual elongation and stressing reports before submission to the client’s consultant.
• Working out technical difficulties faced during the execution of works and coordination with other departments.
• Estimation of site resources, their cost, and their distribution between work tasks
• Supervising the execution of works and assuring quality compliance to project specifications.
• Ensuring Health Safe Environment policies are followed.
• Attending stakeholder meetings and addressing their concerns.
• Documenting work progress reports and reporting to the superintendent and superstructure manager.

• Studying and interpreting of shop drawings, work method statements, and construction plans
• Estimation of recourses and its cost as well as its allocation between construction tasks.
• Planning and performing material and soil testing and analyzing reports before submission to the client.
• Assigning tasks to subordinates and supervision of site civil works like installation of steel structure and steel reinforcement bars, installation of formworks and shuttering, block works, Plastering, soil compaction, and concreting.
• Estimation of the quantity of concrete and performing concrete quality tests.
• Controlling the quality of works and ensuring compliance to project specifications.
• Planning and submitting work and material inspection requests and seeking consultant and client’s approval for completed works.
• Maintaining Health and Safety environment at the worksite.
• Monitoring site construction progress and shifting priorities to maintain the project timeline.
• Coordinating with other departments and sub-contractors for concurrent execution of work.
• Documentation and reporting to Site civil Engineers Construction manager.
