On May 2009 I had moved to KSA to be responsible on presales activities for Giza Arabia (Giza Systems Saudi Branch) handling both OSS and BSS areas for all telecom operators in the kingdom (STC, Mobily and Zain) in addition to Telecom Regulator (CITC).
• Keeping studding and aware of new solutions and new initiatives within the standard Telecom organizations like TMF and keeping aware of different frameworks (Integration, Information, Applications, Business Processes…)
• Working hand to hand with the sales team to position new solutions and initiatives to our clients based on their needs.
• Providing solution Architecture for complex solutions including several products and the integration points whenever required.
• Providing the required consultation in the telecom field for mobile operators and other telecom corporations through managing and auditing the tasks for such corporations.
• Providing solution costing including software licenses, hardware, professional services and operation and support services, this done in cooperation with the operation teams.
• Discussing on demand client requirements and defining the pain points then proposing the most suitable solution which addresses the client needs and discussing it with the client through several iterations till approving it with the client.
• Prepares and conducts presentation on the proposed solution at the bidding stage with the client.
• Working on received Request for Proposal (RFP) and provide the suitable solutions and products for the RFP after discussing it (internally or with the client whenever possible).
• Preparing the technical offers which describe the proposed solutions and products, the implementation approach, duration, limitations and assumptions when needed.
• Responds to customer inquiries to explain the proposed solution and clarify any missed issues.
I had start working as presales for the telecom BU at Giza Systems after spending two years as a development team leader, at this time I was handling presales activities under supervision of presales manager at Giza Systems.
During the 18 months I handled presales activities and responsibilities as much as mentioned above but at this time the activates were reviewed and approved from the presales manager at Giza Systems
Design solutions for the customer requirements.
Managing Team Tasks and team members' workload.
Analysing the new requirements of the customer and performing gap analysis for the client changing requests.
Implementing and coding the required pre-designed issues.
Managing and implementing training activities for the teams within North Delta Electricity Distribution Company.
