Technical procurement related to district cooling from reliable source taking into consideration all the factors to source quality products in time
o Procuring material from reliable source taking into consideration quality, price factor, brand identification, identify main dealer for a particular brand, delivery commitment and end user satisfaction
o Floating enquiries to suppliers, negotiating prices, preparing comparison statements of quotes, preparing LPO’s and forwarding it to the Manager for approval
o Identifying new sources from different regions to support project specific needs in terms of pricing and delivery
o Negotiating and secure the most competitive terms on long-term procurement agreements with preferred suppliers ensuring firm fixed pricing, delivery schedules and terms and conditions are clearly defined and understood by all parties and also parallel identify purchasing savings opportunities
o Coordinate with international vendors from sourcing to final delivery of goods
o Coordinate and control functions of import like custom clearance and transportation to ensure timely delivery
o Directing plant store department and store keepers for receiving material as per purchase order and issue store received voucher. Also to ensure materials delivered are in good condition.
o Schedule delivery and the transportation of the materials to the Plant
o Capability to handle emergency situations with P.O. for immediate need of goods or services through quick process
o Decreased project costs and optimized supplier performances involved day-to-day planning of materials, changing material quantity, dates and making sure the Plant runs smoothly
o Obtaining services on credit terms to avoid cash purchases.
o Conducting comprehensive research on products and suppliers to ensure that they meet and maintain all standards and quality
o Complete purchasing of assets, hardware & software also accessories and other construction material required for the Company.
o Liaising with General Manager and Director to finalize the PO.
o Collecting relevant documents, specification of items and sample for requisitions.
o Arranging the data sheet & MSDS for specific materials
o Produce delivery notes matching respective invoices to facilitate
o Keeping the track of the LPO & Invoices into Procurement Log sheet as soft copy to have the follow up & future reference
o Obtaining approval of invoices from respective departments before submission to Finance Department
o Arrange meetings with the supplier management to understand and discuss the aspects of business and to develop effective relationships
o Inspect Laying and joining of cross country Pipe line of pipe of dia 1600mm and 1800mm
o Fit-up Weld Visual Inspection of MS pipe of dia ranging from 100 to 1800mm
o NDT & DT Coordination, Heat treatment, Hardness testing Inspection witnessing of Mechanical works
o Conduct welder qualification tests for the new welders
o Witness cube test, core test, slump test, sieve analysis and all the QC tests regarding civil works
o Material inspection
o Perform inspections and documentation of all site work in progress on a continuing basis, daily, weekly and montly progress reporting to the client
o Assists supervision and project controls in preparation of short-term schedules. Execute field take offs from "Issued For Construction" drawings, provides input to the quantity tracking applications and reporting weekly installed quantities.
o Identification of Contractual variations and cost evaluation for submission of interim and final claims for the project
o Measurement of work and ensuring timely & accurate billing of the same.
o Collections/Obtain certification. Assisting the client in understanding the bills and assisting them in making payments.
o Inventory control of the materials received by contactor.
o Vendor approval & Prepare vendor list and ensure the contractor follows it.
o To liaise with the client, Contractors Site Engineer, Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Planning Engineer and Forman. Compiling and ensuring timely issue of detailed Pipe-work Work-packs containing, Work-scope description, Pipe-work fabrication isometrics and Material Issue Notes.
o Co-ordinating with the Third-party inspection team.
o Ensuring all work being carried out is done in a timely manner and in line with the master schedule.
o Conversant with the Project HSE Plan.
o Assist the Resident Engineer (German National) in meetings, public relations, resolving complaints from the public due to the road excavation, land acquisition, damages to properties etc
o Preparing material requisition in line with the MTO provided by Design & Detailed Engineering department
o Assisted in preparation for pre-market analysis
o Coordinated approval process for major purchases in conjunction with the manager
o Performed basic accounting and document controlling associated with procurement in support of accounting staff
o Provided support to the Procurement Manager, assisting in the preparation of RFQ’s, RFP’s, Techno Commercial Evaluation and Purchase Order’s
o Contact suppliers to resolve missed deliveries, short shipments and pricing discrepancies
o Receive and documented all shipments
o vendor list preparation and contract files maintenance
o Preparation of weekly and monthly reports
o Effectively handled the task of execution, monitoring & co-ordination of construction, testing, and punch list clearance works of piping of process plants along with analysis.
o Maintained internal coordination with HSE, Planning, QA/QC, and Engineering & Construction Departments as well as with external Engineering Companies, Services Specialists and Vendors.
o Oversaw the installation of all plant mechanical and piping systems in accordance with International and Industrial codes & standards such.
o Managed the designated pipeline pre-commissioning activities like Pressure Testing, De-Watering, Flushing and Drying of Pipelines as per the project specification.
o Assist Site Engineer in the entire plant mechanical erection, pre-commissioning and final start up of Rolling Mill.
o Involved in scheduling & monitoring manpower mobilization construction equipment as well as checking and monitoring tools, equipment and welding consumables.
