Job Description; Designated in heavy job repair, capable of engine troubleshooting and diagnosing, engine overhauling, replacement of engine, under chassis repair and rectification. Transmission diagnosing troubleshooting and overhauling, quick service, like preventive maintenance check up, handles also A/C and heating diagnosing, troubleshooting and repair, electrical system diagnosis and troubleshooting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Diagnoses faults in motor vehicles with specific diagnostic equipments for Ferrari and Maserati luxury cars.
2. Remove engine assemblies, steering mechanisms or other components and check parts.
3. Raises vehicles using hydraulic hoists’ or jacks.
4. Repairs & replaces worn, defective parts and re-assembles mechanical components.
5. Tests and adjusts repaired sub-assemblies, and re-installs them.
6. Tunes engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations.
7. Re-lines and adjusts brakes and aligns wheels.
8. Changes oil & filter, and lubricates vehicles, performing the maintenance program schedule of the vehicle.
9. Can perform road test of the vehicle.
10. Ensures that the job card is issued with the details of the repair work to be carried out.
11. Suggests to the Workshop Supervisor and or Service Manager in relation to work quality, work performance, special tools and workshop equipments.
12. Ensures that protective covers are used in all vehicles before carrying out any repairs.
13. Ensures proper maintenance and serviceability of hand tools and personal work clothing.
14. Ensures all repairs carried out are properly authorized including warranty work.
15. Maintains the highest quality standards in all repair work carried out.
Job Description/Responsibilities: I am responsible for the efficient and quality repair of vehicles in the workshop and for maintaining the highest standards following the manufacturers repair procedures.
