EMIRAJE Systems are a provider of advanced C4I solutions within the Gulf region. The I-Programme will supply a state-of-the-art C4I solution to the Abu Dhabi Joint Armed Forces. This is a large scale Development, Integration and Rollout Programme involving the redesign, manufacture and re-deployment of Military Grade vehicles.
Key Duties:
• Management of day to day Project Management tasks (WBS/Scope definition, Risk, Scheduling, Budget Control, Change Control) for the I-Phase of the Programme (circa $550m USD) across 10 different integrated Projects with direct input from Platform leads (Work Package managers) and helping manage the interdependencies therein. Reporting directly to the Senior Programme Manager.
• Subcontractor Management, dealing with multiple contracts totalling $150m USD with feeds from direct Subcontract Delivery Managers, including but not limited to: Vehicle Design, Vehicle Mass Production, Software Integration, and Site Construction.
• Stakeholder Management, having to liaise daily with both customer and clients to ensure smooth running of the Projects.
• Mentoring local UAE nationals in order to develop skillsets in country as well as guiding PM (Project Management) Disciplines to non-Project personnel (e.g. Technical, Engineers)
• Day to Day Management of the Project team within the PMO, (Project Control, Scheduling, and Risk) spread across the Project platforms.
• Setting up the PMO in terms of infrastructure, processes, tooling and staffing. Definition of processes for Risk & Opportunity management, Work Package management, Scope Management, Cost management, Schedule management, Stakeholder management and Governance. Control and Coordination of integral Project Documentation (Project Management Plan).
• Proposing corporate policies and tooling to implement these, for example a consolidated resource management tool to understand individual resource loads per Project against current staffing forecasts to aid Human Resource planning.
• Providing in house training and support in PM methodologies
• Closely liaising with the Quality department in order to maintain compliance with contractual deliveries and maintaining standards across the Programme as well as managing negotiated Change Requests.
