• Designed and executed annual commodity strategies covering market intelligence, supply assurance,

evaluation, sample approval, contract execution, and ongoing performance management.

5-year strategies on payment terms, BCC sourcing, and net material inflation.
Cost Optimisation & Value Engineering:
• Delivered controllable cost savings of 4.74M$ (FY23), 4.84M$ (FY22), 1.66M$ (FY21), 1.08M$ (FY20)
through structured cost reduction projects and value engineering initiatives.
• Applied detailed cost modelling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis in all sourcing decisions,
covering landed cost, logistics, quality, and payment terms impact.
• Executed e-auctions (reverse online bidding) across multiple commodities; combined with open-book cost
analysis to achieve competitive market pricing.
• Regionalisation programme (2019-2022): Transferred 16.6M€ spend from Asia/North America to Europe,
achieving 1.4M$ landed cost saving and reducing FX exposure and lead times.

Supplier Quality, Performance & Supply Continuity:
• Managed supplier QCD performance through structured KPI frameworks; coordinated corrective action
plans and supplier development activities with quality and engineering teams.
• Resolved live supply emergencies for all 4 plants across assigned commodities — including the managed
resolution of an Italian supplier crisis (unauthorised price increase and shipment halt) through direct
supplier negotiation, an Italy visit, frame order commitment, and parallel alternative supplier qualification
in Turkey.
• Maintained supply continuity across a complex multi-plant, multi-tier supply chain; proactively managed
single-source risks through alternative supplier development.

Selected High-Impact Projects: Qualified Sanhua alongside Wika and Huba; 1 M$/year saving on
6.5M$ spend — eliminated risk Tooled up Demisaş/Sistaş (castings) and Totomak (machining)
in Turkey; 1.6M€/year saving. to Yunlu (China): 1.5M$/year saving vs. incumbent European suppliers. Transferred to ESS (Turkey); saving. Powder Parts: to Seashine, Laizhou, Porite (China); 320k€/year landed saving.

Served as sourcing liaison and commercial manager for European OEM manufacturers (Bluebox/Swegon
Italy, Remeha/BDR Thermea Holland, Condor Austria). Managed supplier relations, contract negotiations,
and import/export commercial operations.

Managed strategic sourcing support across 80+ Emerson manufacturing plants in Europe with a mandate to migrate supply base to best-cost countries (primarily Central and Eastern Europe). Led a team of 5.



Executed full sourcing cycle across multiple commodity categories: spend analysis, market assessment, supplier identification and qualification, negotiation, contract preparation, and transition management.

Led end-to-end procurement for two Istanbul metro infrastructure projects (Taksim-Yenikapı and Levent-
Ayazağa lines). Managed 2 Procurement Engineers. Full responsibility for supplier selection, contract
management, letter of credit, and procurement planning across MEP, civil, and systems categories. Total
savings delivered: €12.7M.

Procurement and Supplier Development role in a 1, 200-person automotive OEM (IVECO JV). Direct experience in automotive procurement standards and processes: APQP, PPAP, ISO/TS 16949, FMEA, and production process auditing (BVQi certified). Managed domestic and international purchasing, new project implementation, supplier qualification, localisation, quota management, and cost analysis. ERP: BaaN (with BaaN-to-SAP BPR transition participation).



Direct Procurement Project: Contracted IVECO parts directly from IVECO sub-suppliers, bypassing intermediary; 17.5M$/year total benefit (14M$ personal contribution).

Uzel Gearbox Project: Negotiated direct supply of all gearbox components from sub-suppliers; 1.6M$/year saving.

Outsourcing Project: Transferred production of assembly and detail parts to external suppliers (fuel tanks, axle machining, sheet metal, brake systems); 450k$/year saving + 1, 200 m² freed floor space.

MBF Project: Processed all chassis part sourcing for Iveco Modular Bus Family new model programme (prototype phase).

Process development and R&D activities at Turkeys largest electrolytic copper producer. EU 6th Framework
Programme research. Quality assurance via FMEA-based product quality improvement.
