Knowledge about heavy equipment, rotation equipment, static equipment, hydraulics equipment and installation, welding procedure and equipment.
Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective and diagnostic maintenance techniques;
Experience in Offshore static equipment, rotating machinery, troubleshooting techniques,
Responsible for performing diagnostic tests, and troubleshooting system faults and failures, of mechanical equipment onboard the rig including but not limited to;
Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding mechanical systems and equipment
Good knowledge of ASME and API code
Good knowledge for Marine standard and HSE
Capacity to work hard and dedicated to work;
Communication abilities at any level and with different nationalities and cultures;
Organizational capacity, working team spirit and working abilities in any medium with answers and solutions requested;
Good knowledge of technical plans and drawings for execution and location
Management of contractors and vendors;
Knowledge of Condition monitoring techniques
Significant experience in Oil & Gas plants Design and Operation
Offshore technical background including stability, fluid dynamics and loading.
Knowledge of ocean weather and sea state conditions affecting rig operations.
Knowledge of all regulations and laws as related to offshore drilling operations in the area of operations.
Excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and company proprietary software.
Experience in marine environmental and hazardous material regulations and procedures.
Ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis and to follow-up on all tasking to completion
