This internship gave me a detailed insight about the various facets of Digital Marketing that go into making an effective business strategy. Overall, I had the pleasure of implementing the knowledge I garnered over the years in a business context and thus gained insightful experiences.
Handled and managed my internship tasks well, alongside my University coursework as well as my social enterprise startup project (team of four), having been awarded a development grant by Expo 2020 Live University Innovation Program. Ensured quality of work and integrity in all three domains.
Drafted and edited a lot of content across social posts, newsletters, Press Releases and email campaigns.
Handled social media marketing while maintaining an organized todo list and calendar, in line with YAL's vision, goals and initiatives.
Planned and Implemented Social Advertising campaigns with appropriate demographics and budgets.
Designed creatives for various events and initiatives using a range of tools.
Participated in weekly meetings with the Community Manager and Executive Director of YAL.
Maintained clear communication with the Community Manager and Executive Director.
Worked hands-on with Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite and Wordpress.
Posted engaging live content by attending various renowned events.
Handled note-taking and photography well at executive meetups, wherein high-profile executives and CEOs from various industries participate to share experiences and discuss challenges.
Measured progress, both organic and paid, and reported regularly to the Executive Director.
Enhanced and optimised efforts in compliance with instructions and feedback from the Executive Director and Chairwoman.
Assisted senior teachers in conducting various innovative English language classes and learning activities.
Prepared and implemented strong plans with my team to ensure comprehensive safety & security of young learners, in compliance with British Council policies.
Coordinated with program managers and senior teachers to ensure that the state-of-the-art summer school runs smoothly.
Planned and implemented creative STEM art & craft activities for secondary young learners.
Diligent Marking of IELTS OMR sheets with strict confidentiality and in absolute compliance with policies and procedures set by IELTS, including quality assurance checks for markers.
