Al Jaber Precision Engineering (AJPE) is a specialized Fabrication and Construction company dealing mainly with industrial projects. The projects include TES Tanks, Water Tanks, Petroleum Products storage Tanks, Structural Steel works and Pipe works.
As a senior executive in the company, my responsibilities cover the implementation of various turnkey projects including contracts management. It also includes the creation of each project particular requirements maily: Supervisory teams, Manpower, Plants and Equipment, Mobilization plans, Execution plans, Design, Procurement, Budgets and Cost Controls.
All projects are within the heavy industrial domain and include all engineering disciplines.
The project encompasses the execution of the first phase of the fuel farm as required for storage and hydrant supply for the new Dubai World Central International Airport located in Jebel Ali.
The scope of works consists of design and build of the fuel farm facilities comprising of: Process Works (ME&I) & Associated Civil Works, Fire Fighting & Detections Systems, Buildings & External Systems & Services.
As the project director responsible for all the project operations mainly: Contract management and client relations, budgeting, planning, and cost controls including strategic and risk assessments. Design, procurement, subcontractors and construction follow up.
Managing the execution of two Fuel Oil Strategic Storage Depots in remote locations in Ghana/ West Africa. The project under EPCC contract; was executed in a fast track schedule. It included the construction of Fuel Oil Storage Tanks with all pipeworks, process and control systems, including civil works.
Founded Maadin in 1997 as an Industrial Company specialized in Electro-Mechanical, Steel Fafrication and Construction Works, as well as in Operation and Maintenance Works.
Duties include managing of all company operations, initiated overall plans and procedures and emplemented projects from conception to completion.
Major Accomplished Projects:
1.Complete Execution of five LPG Bottling Plant belonging to Nat Gaz/ Lebanon. Each Plant consists of 6 LPG vessels, process pipeworks, electrical and control systems including associated civil works.
2.Maliban Glass Factory Development project.
3.Uniceramic Plant Expansion project.
4. Liban Lait Factory and Farm, Comprising the execution of 45000 m2 Structural steel buildings and Factory equipments.
5.Management, Operation and Maintenance of Industrial Facilities.
Major Executed Projects:
1."Gaz Orient" Development Project, Phase One and Phase Two:
Construction, Testing & Commissioning of LPG Storage and Mixing Facilities in Dora, Beirut, Lebanon. This LPG plant has a storage capacity of 45000 m3, is considered the biggest LPG Terminal on the Mediteranean. The project entails the execution of ten Propane mounded Vessels, each is 75 meter length and 8 meter Diameter, complete with all related installations.
2. Al Ourjouan Building: Execution of the most prestigious building in Beirut.
3.Miscellaneous Industrial Construction Projects in Lebanon
Major Projects, (included Bidding & Execution):
1.Tihama Electrification Project, / KSA: Complete execution of MV/LV Overhead Power Distribution systems including consumers (houses) connections, (part of KSA rural Electrifications scheme).
2.Al Aflaj 132 KV Transmission system / KSA, Comprising 200 km OH Transmission lines with five substations.
3.Al Ahsa Desalination Plant / KSA
Major Executed Projects:
1.Jeddah IV Desalination and Power Plant.
As an Area Engineer responsible for the erection of Fuel Tanks with Piping systems, Evaporators (MSF System), and Ancillaries.
2.Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant / Riyadh.
Full responsibility for the execution of this 1500 m3/day RO Plant, treating brackish water, complete with Pretreatment and Post treatment systems. The works included also complete execution of deep water well (1200m depth).
Major Accomplished Projects:
1.Ghubrah Desalination plant and Power Station / Sultanate of Oman.
Worked as a construction engineer responsible for:
•Site welding of Evaporators
•Erection of all Structural Steel Buildings.
•Fabrication and erection of all Piping systems including pipes' supports.
•Erection of all Fuel and Water Storage Tanks.
2.Town Electrification of Oman.
Responsible for the "Electrification" works of five remote towns. The works included execution of complete Diesel Driven Power Stations and establishing of MV/LV Overhead Power distribution systems.
3.Mascut/ El Seeb Water Pipeline, Sultanate of Oman.
As a site engineer responsible for the erection of 85 km, 24inch diameter, Ductile Iron pipeline, complete with all mechanical connections.
