- Conducting Toolbox Meeting daily for 10-15 minutes to encourage employees involvement in all safety rules and regulations
- Checking all right Personal Protective Equipment in particular job assignment in compliance with correct safety standards
- Identifying all hazards and implement good housekeeping.
- Monitoring critical activities that requires Permit to Work such as Confined space, Hot Works and Working at height
- Maintaining and continuously improve security to ensure the safety of the employee and company property
- Conducting Accident Investigation and contribute to make corrective actions and mitigations
• Performing risk assessments of each area of company activity and making recommendation on actions to be taken to reduce risks.
• Ensuring that the procedures are fully up to date by a continuous review of new and revised legislation.
• Ensuring that procedures are being adhered to by carrying out audits, spot checks and reviews.
• Defining procedures to meet the demands of job specific hazards.
• Leading the investigation of any accidents or incidents and making recommendations on modified procedures to avoid recurrences.
• Co-ordination and provision of safety training and safety induction to all staff.
• Advising project supervisor(s) and manager(s) on the implementation of safety procedures.
• Creating awareness of the hazards associated with the use of radioactive materials, carcinogens (cancer inducers), toxic chemicals and other aspects of occupational health hazards and dissemination of this information.
• Ensuring that all non-routine and potentially hazardous routine jobs are carried out under Permit to Work System with associated Complimentary Certificates, and Work Hazard Information System (WHIS) duly followed.
- Setting up of documented safety procedures and precautions covering all aspects of the Company’s activities and system to disseminate these to all members of staff
- Ensuring that the procedures are fully up to date by a continuous review of new and revised legislation
