Roles & Responsibilities include
•To work with a team of engineers/drafters to develop and review the Electrical Design packages including the basic, detailed, construction and as-built packages
•To co-ordinate with the process & instrumentation team to understand the process flow & P&ID drawings
•To co-ordinate with the onsite team/customers to understand the design requirements and make the changes as required.
•Responsible for power system modeling & Analysis
•Ensuring compliance of documents & system as per International codes & standards (CSA, NEC, IEC, IEEE), local Electricity Boards & Other Regulatory Commissions.
•Ensuring compliance of the design packages to the Andritz quality standards
•Responsible for reporting project status/resource availability/resource requirement to the Project Manager

•Lafarge Finish Mill Expansion (Exshaw, Alberta, Canada)
Responsible for the design and review of the overall electrical package design which included development of Single line diagram (MV & LV), power cable block diagrams, E-room layout & design, cable sizing & cable tray layouts & routing, preparation of power system study requirement document and SOW.
•Arc Flash & Harmonic Analysis For Northern Alberta Terminal and Hydrate Plant (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada)
Responsible for providing protection settings for the incoming breaker to the MCC, performing arc flash studies and worked on the power factor correction and harmonic filter design using SKM PTW Version 6.5.

Responsible for design of basic, detailed, construction and as-built packages overall electrical including motor list from P&ID drawings, preparing cable schedule & cable block diagram, single-line diagram, MCC layout using CenterOne from Rockwell, Eroom Layout, cable sizing and cable tray routing and layouts.
•Protection & Arc Flash Analysis for Graymont Peasant Gap(Pennsylvania, US)
Responsibilities included reviewing the existing protection LV settings and arc flash levels and proposing new protection settings to reduce the arc flash levels.
