Implement and supervision of daily drilling operations in a high safety environment and planning services for a flowing process. Supervisior on 3000 HP Rig. Deep drilling with HPHTon NWRA field with deepths range proposed TD at 16, 180 ft ( TVD 15, 485 ft / 40 Deg deviated ) Have perform supervisions duty to RIH and land 30”, 24”, 18-5/8”, ( Sting in Surf Csg ) 13-5/8” ( Intermediate ), 10-3/4”, 7-3/4” ( Liners and Tie-backs ) & 4-1/2” ( Production string ), as well cementing operations. Coordinate with success operations and overseas implementation of drilling program based mud system Water base & OBM ( with a max 19.6ppg ) to drill with success a HPHT high deviated well. Keeping well control data updated and equipment up to date and with COC’s dated. Preparing daily reporting ( Open Wells ) and Monthly reporting as well final well recap reports.
Monitoring and supervising all the activities on site, to drill & complete Horizontal wells (Measure depth between 1500m to 2100m / TVD 460m to 700m) to produce oil from Viking formation. Drilled main hole with 159mm PDC bit on 4-3/4” directional BHA with Gamma ray monitoring system and using a Polymer based mud system. 159mm Main hole cased with 114.3mm Csg and NCS sleeves ports. Long string casing, run with a, NCS Airlock system, to minimize drag effects, on the well, horizontal section.
Participate as a Drilling superintendent for the West Indian Energy Group operations to Jacobin 1 (Cory Moruga Field) and Cassava 1 ( South Erin Field ). Both wells drilled as explorations wells to 6700 ft and 6000ft. Wells drilled with water base Gel Polymer system and directional BHA both well drilled as projected to final TD, and under budged.
Direct supervision of the drilling activities on slants rigs (angle up to 70 Deg), on productions wells in Western Alberta. Drilling with directional BHA from spud to TD at 2000 to 3000 ft. Using Floc Water and Polymer based drilling fluids, load with LCM to avoid fluid loses in low consolidates formations (BHP of 450 PSI ). Using, adequate drilling parameters, for passing with no problems through the productions low consolidated Frm.
Coordinate & supervise drilling & completions activities for deep gas wells (16, 000 ft) project in Haradh; Uthmaniyah & Shedgum in SW part of K.S.A. Objective: Deviated S-Shape gas producer across Khuff reservoir, with potential production to 15 MMSCFD, & Pres up to 7, 000 psi. Potential H2S; with total lost circulation (using mud cap method for well control). Implemented Aramco G.I. and Well control policy. Adhered to safety rules & regulations and supervised Aramco safety policy, to eliminate bad practices and unsafe work practices. Report and discuss drilling programs, as well as active participating to improve, drilling process, to lower the cost / ft drilled. Performed 3 & 2 Stages 13-3/8” & 9-5/8” Csg, cement operation. Final completion, for 2 legs high deviated wellbore. Dealing with well control, differential stuck, directional drilling, drilling with partial or total losses of circulation. Reporting daily activities, in SADIS reporting system.
Supervised drilling process for drilling 2 horizontals wells with 2 legs of 2100 ft length in Apache / Zama in North Alberta - Canada. Both wells being classified as: “Critical sour wells” with 32% H2S. Active participant in implementing Apache Emergency Response Plan. As well coordinating, all the safety requirements, necessary to drill in a safe and with no well control problems.
Supervise, and co-ordinate drilling and completions activities for HP/HT medium deep wells (6000 ft.) in Chad for China National Petroleum Company. Direct coordinate 160 crew, auxiliary personal and services in a multicultural and divers religion environment.
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of a double top drive, drilling rig crews (40-50 workers), operate service daily drilling & completions operations for HP/HT, H2S environment, and medium deep (6000 ft.) wells in Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. Orchestrate and manage a 6000 ft 220 directional drilling sour critical, dealing effectively with kicks and tripping gas package while drilling main hole, well under AFE 10% and 2 days under schedule. Surface equipment, BHA design, fluid design, formation evaluation, and wellbore hydraulics design. Coordinate logistics, purchase supplies/services and control costs. Prepare daily operational and cost reports on, Well View / Passon well reporting program and communicate to Head Office.
Supervise co-ordinate drilling process with a coil-tubing rig for shallow (1500 ft.) gas wells, in E. Alberta (Provost & Twining blocks). Requisitions of services, materials and supplies in a dynamic project. Establish to finish more than 60 wells in a safe and high professional manner with no incidents and in the budget. Prepare daily multiple wells final reports and manage to send Well View daily final reports. Front line for well control issues.
Daily drilling and completions operations for light oil wells (9000 ft.) in W.C.S.B. (Sunchild and Gutah blocks). Supervise a triple rig crew drilling and camp activity (total of 80 workers), Co-ordinate the logistic and service contractors, daily drilling reports, closely supervisions for BOP safety drills and tailgate safety meetings. Finish contract with no safety incidents and with 20% less than the AFE.
Contributed successfully to finalized drilling projects in W. Canada using; Oil Based. Water Based, and U.B. Foam Mud Systems for Oil Company like: Encana, Husky, C.N.R.L., and Samson Canada. Control and maintain drilling fluid parameters, according to Operator’s requirements. Developed and implemented new methods for U.B.D. resulting in reduced rig time. Trainer and mentor to junior staff personnel.
Assured that all operations are strictly adhered to the drilling program as dictated by company procedures and established safety standards. Interfaced and cooperated with all Rig Managers, Supervisors and Managerial Technical team. Planning and Programming of drilling and completions activity in Sarir Oil Field area for wells of 10000 ft, vertical, directional, wells with 20% H2S content, involved in BHA design, fishing, sidetracking, casing jobs, single and dual completion, oil/gas production and gas/water injector wells.. Prepared and submitted of Purchase Requisition and keep the evidence of all drilling tools and equipment. Ensured the highest quality of work, according to operator procedures. Monitor daily well progress; provide verbal and written technical input as required by Operator.
Supervise in East Hassouna 204 contract, two single rigs (Soilmec G-100, G-101) Hydraulic powered, Top drive drilling system, reverse & direct circulation, Gardner-Denver Triples mud pumps, Washington diverter system. Drilled over 100 wells (2500 ft) using percutant system (Hammer. BIT) penetration and foam drilling system. Optimized hydraulic regime, in order to keep a higher ROP and a good hole cleaning.
Total experience in excess of 20 yrs, out of which, 18 in a supervising position. This means standing in for or taking position such as drilling supervisor, drilling superintendent or drilling engineer. It includes start up operation in land drilling on a worldwide base. Responsibilities are all those normally associated with these positions. As drilling & completion foreman I supervised work-over operations involving shallow and deep overpressure HP/HT, H2S, vertical and directional wells. Completion that have included perforating, gravel packing, acidifying, squeezing cement, production testing, nitrogen & coil tubing operations, fishing and clean out work, lost circulation, re-entry, sidetracking with whip-stock, extended drilling, drill steam testing with all range of rigs (single; double; triple and coil tubing) on wells ranging from 1500 to 15,000 feet with surface pressure ranging from 500 psi to 7000 psi. Successfully completed drilling projects in: KSA. with Saudi Aramco; W. Canada for: Apache Canada, C.N.R.L., Tusk Energy, Northrock Res., EOG Res., Encana; in Libya for: Saipem, SNC Lavalin; in Chad for C.N.P.C.; in Romania for Rompetrol, Foradex S.A.
