• Dealing with Customers up to 46 Containers a month.
• Customer requirement is to sort packages and materials based on Customer’s Customer and their customers
• Preparing invoices to customers for Storage, Handling, Documentation and Others Charges
• Preparing invoices to Head Office after updating provisions in corresponding job numbers
• Billing Cash receipts for Customers based on the Charges for the Cargo stored/Cleared/Handled
• Arranging transport and documentation to pull out container from the Jebel Ali Port
• Updating Dubai Trade for pulling out and depositing containers from the Jebel Ali Port
• Making payments in Dubai Trade for Local Gate Passes and for arranging containers
• Preparing LGP & Gate Passes for Incoming & Outgoing Cargo from and to the JAFZA
• Preparing Documents to obtain Country of Origin Documents from Dubai Chamber
• Preparing quarterly reports of Storage, Handling, Stuffing, Palletizing and Documentations
• Verified proper temperature level on all stored Cargo requiring refrigeration
• Preparing reports in Microsoft Excel as per customer requirements
• Preparing logical and programmed reports in Microsoft Excel to ease storage reporting
My responsibilities includes,
• • Creating Material Purchase Requests and collecting all information about the materials to be purchased.
• Maintaining data related to all purchases, updating file with PR, PO, Supplier information and following up till delivery.
• Maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a record of all outstanding purchase orders with external vendors.
Bachelor Degree Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A) (Bachelor Degree Course, Mahatma Gandhi. University) PASSED WITH FIRST CLASS. 62 % MARKS Final project done at BINANI ZINC LIMITED, Edayar, Aluva. Project was to develop Software for BINANI Employees ESI Details Management. Our 3 Member team developed the software by using Visual Basic 5.0 as Frontend and Microsoft Access as a Backend.
