•Communicate and reinforce TDIC EHS policy and EHS requirements to HFC staff and contractors, and lead by example in developing a strong site team safety culture.
•Conduct regular inspections and ensure safe working practices are implemented and followed, and hazards and risks appropriately managed to protect people property & environment.
•Report in writing any observation, concern, violation or non conformance to HFC, manager and to concerned disciplines and follow through to close out.
•Escalate EHS concerns of a serious nature to TDIC H&S manager for attention.
•Develop safe work procedures for all activities that pose a risk to employees and guests of the park.
•Conduct EHS inductions for new employees
•Compile monthly HSE performance report and forward to HFC manager and TDIC H&S manager
•Investigate incidents in conjunction with line management, develop corrective action plans and follow through to close out.
•Participate in serious incident (including near miss) investigations in conjunction with HFC managers and TDIC H&S manager
•Establish and actively participate in HFC EHS committee meetings.
•Keep up to date with relevant HSE legislation and standards, particularly those that affect the tourism sectors.
•Coordinate evacuation plan and emergency response procedures for HFC
•Provide specialist advice support and training on EHS matters to HFC management & staff
•Support the H&S manager in rolling out TDIC’s EHSMS and EHS initiatives.
•Supervise the safe storage and disposal of hazardous substances
•Defining and delivering team development programmers.
•Managing local and global supplier relationships.
•Preparing letters and official statements related to site HSE conditions.
•Receive and forward all the documents to Consultants and Sub-contractors.
•Doing meetings of HSE with GM and PM about site condition.

Developing relevant and appropriate strategies, programmers and HSE plan to improve and sustain safety performance within the team and by the contractors managed by the team.
Site inspection visits, audits (e.g. pre-execution audit), management facility visits and other safety-related inspections.

 Assist in evaluating method statement/safety procedure before submittal by the contractor regarding safety related matters.
 Investigate all reportable accident, near miss, injuries and dangerous occurrences to assess the cause and provide information on future preventive measures.
 Provide the necessary onsite training for employee safety awareness and carry out training courses where specialized safety procedures are required.
 Co-ordinate/facilitate all the activities relative to safety as per instruction of construction or developers safety supervisors or all workers on site including sub contractor and visitors on site.
 To liaise, communicate and maintain good relations with other sections of the department, Council and external agencies in connection with the post holder’s work and the administration needs of the service.
 Closely monitors scaffold erection / dismantling work, permit-required confined space entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work and similar hazardous activities and ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with.
 Checks and ensures compliance of site work-force with the approved Safe Work Permit System / Procedure in accordance with local regulation imposed.
