Project Cost: INR 450Crores Client: APRDC (Total input 20 months)
Main Project features: The Package - 4 of this project corridor consists of 1 Major bridges of length of 1.1Km situated on GODAVARI River, 1ROB, 1 RUB, 7 Minor bridges and Culverts (pipe and box). The foundations of all major and minor bridges consists of Raft foundations or Pile Foundations.. There are also a variety of super structures ranging from PSC I beams, RCC I beams, solid slabs and box structures
Responsibilities:
•Construction Supervision of bridges giving instructions to my field Engineers, daily job request, approvals, check and give approval for construction after getting approval from I.C.
•Setting out of alignment with reference to alignment plan and GAD.
•Checking & Approval of construction Methodology submitted by the sub - contractor
•Supervision of piling activities involved in the site and conducted pile load test of vertical and lateral load test.
•Supervision of execution of pile caps, open foundation, piers and pier caps as per drawings.
•Conducted Standard Penetration Tests, Plate Load Test etc.
•Checking the bar bending schedule, concrete pouring to the structures.
•Checking shuttering, scaffolding arrangement, curing to the structures.
•Checking the subsoil investigation to the structures.
•Review the staging design.
•Liaison work carried out with Local departments involved in the projects..
•Maintaining & verification of quality at all stages of work in conformation with standard specifications.
•Modify drawings as per the site conditions, liaison with client regarding daily progress; prepare the weekly and monthly progress.
•Checking and approvals of BBS and recording the monthly measurements in M-book as per IPC for sub-contractor bills.
•Reviewing the working drawings & BBS submitted by EPC of all structures by considering the comments of independent consultants before starting execution at site.
•Execution and supervision of all construction activities as per the RFIs submitted for inspection from time to time and supervising the work as per approved working drawing and specification for quality output.
•Responsibility includes preparation of methodologies & staging drawings, execution of structures from lay out checking up to super structure completion level of major bridges, minor bridges, Under Passes, culverts & RE Walls as per MORST&H, IS & IRC specifications.
•Planning of machinery & man power by coordinating with superiors during monitoring of works at site. Preparation of BOQ related to sub-contractors.
•Involved in weekly, monthly progress reports preparation & attending review meetings pertaining to progress & Quality.
