Project Name: Shared Cloud

Description: The aim of the project is to provide infrastructure (IAAS) to the Ericsson client by customizing it based on their requirements. By using hyperscale computing (HDS) we can efficiently scale servers on demand.

Responsibilities:

Worked for operations team where there is direct interaction with the users in order to fix the issues on the live environments and ensure that the cloud platform is functional, key components like storage (ScaleIO and Nexenta), networking, hardware and infrastructure asserts.

Took the initiative to propose new automation tasks and played a key role in implementing them using shell script and python.

Took the responsibility to build and maintain tools for deployment and monitoring Data center using Check MK and Grafana.

Prepared HOT templates to perform health checks in the cloud environment.

Took the initiative to learn and train new technologies to the team such as OpenStack, CheckMK and functionalities of HDS and SDN.

Ability to deploy, manage and operate scalable, highly available and fault-tolerant systems.

Project Name: EEAAS (Engineering Environment as a Service)

Description: The main aim was to provide platform or infrastructure as a service to the user on demand. The user is provided with complete setup including the packages and software’s required for his project.

Responsibilities:

Developed front-end for the web platform using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Angular JS.

Designed user experience flow to build EEAAS based on business requirements.

Involved in integration testing and deployments across servers.

Trained the team in the aspects of virtualization, cloud computing, OpenStack and networking.

Worked in the support team for 4 months on debugging and fixing technical issues in live environment.
