Assessment and Screening Specialist
Key roles:
•Oversee administration referrals in accordance to ADEK
•Update and implement level B assessments to address social, emotional, and behavioral support
•Train and monitor support staff in and outside of the classrooms
•Provide workshops and trainings to teachers and support staff

Elementary Special Needs and Enrichment Coordinator
Implemented conditioning reinforcement assessments, preference assessments, competing item assessments, VB-MAPP, functional analysis, to ensure students were engaged and motivated across the day with the absence of challenging behavior
•Ensured the special education student’s needs were met and kept track of their progress.
•Assessed challenging behavior in the classroom, provided empirically based research to implement changes to increase and/or decrease desirable and undesirable behaviors.
•Trained staff on implementing procedures with high procedural integrity and fluency.
•Worked as a therapist for a residential facility focusing on improving living, social, and academic skills across the day for individuals with severe autism.
