Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety & Health Program; Provided the leadership to develop and implement the short and long-term strategies for achieving the Project Safety goals; Participated in all jobsite safety meetings including: Daily staff meetings, Site-wide, Pre-Construction, Contractors etc. by leading discussions, demonstrating safe work practices, review safety inspections, accidents and injuries etc., in order to inform jobsite personnel and management of potential risks and mitigate loss; Developed innovative and effective methods to increase safety awareness and minimize the prevention of accidents; Provided the available technical resources to assure safety compliance with the OSHA regulations, state & local governmental agencies.

Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety & Health Program; Provided the available technical and safety resources to the Project team and Subcontractor to ensure safety compliance with the COE EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, Accident Prevention Plan and IAP Safety and Health Program; Developed the site safety orientation, activity hazard analysis, weekly toolbox topics, training materials, emergency action plan and other required documents using the appropriate instructional methods in order to address jobsite safety hazards and use the proper abatement procedures; Oversee the Subcontractor Safety Managers to ensure that proper documentation was maintained, safety orientations conducted, site safety inspections accomplished and other Safety Manager roles and responsibilities are fully implemented.
Fort Benning Military Installation; Columbus, GA. The project entailed construction of utilities (water, sanitary sewer and communications lines) infrastructure, vehicular/pedestrian overpasses, roadway area improvements and access control points (ACP). The Fort Benning Infrastructure Project also consisted of installing miles of communication duct bank, which served as an addition to the communication link at Fort Benning.
Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety and Health Program; Prepared daily and weekly safety narratives outlining the results of the inspection process, past work activities, upcoming safety training, safety milestones accomplished, events documented and reported and identified current and future safety challenges; Investigated all accidents, utility hits, equipment damages and near misses using established techniques to determine the root cause and formulate or update the corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence; Maintained safety records, documents and reports as required by the Corporate office and the USACE; Coordinated, developed and conducted all safety training including OSHA 10 & 30 hour, Excavation & Confined Space, Fall Protection, CPR & 1st Aid, Flagger training, Scaffolds and other safety training as deemed necessary and assured the appropriate level of training for all subcontractors.
Projects consisted of two major OCIP construction high-rise condos. The Quantum on the Bay was a 1.7 million sq ft. for residential and retail space at a cost of $109 million. 900 Biscayne Bay was 1.9 million sq ft. for residential and retail space at a cost of $179 million.
Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for the managing the overall Safety and Health Program with over 1, 400 employees for multiple wrap-up projects and the residential complex that consisted of multiple buildings; Oversee the General Contractor Safety Managers to ensure that proper training was conducted, proper documentation maintained and other safety manager roles and duties were fully implemented; Recommended corrective actions for the safety hazards observed, unanticipated and potential hazards identified in the worksite inspection assessment; Represented Terra Developers on all Safety and Health issues to insurance agencies, governmental agencies and community organizations; Ensured that all competent persons working on all projects had the appropriate certifications and safety training that was valid and current.
Project was the building of the Gwinnett County Detention Center \{CCIP\}. This facility upon completion was a 280, 000 sq ft detention center capable of housing 2, 440 inmates.
Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety and Health Program; Facilitated the monthly Safety Committee meeting with all subcontractors to achieve the successful implementation and monitoring of all loss control procedures in order to minimize losses and raise safety awareness; Participated in all Pre-Construction meetings to foster and establish proactive loss control efforts and review safety documentation etc that was required by Turner and the Owners; Developed innovative and effective methods to increase safety awareness and prevention of accidents; Advised and educated all employees including the Senior Management team on all relevant safety and compliance topics and concerns.
Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety and Health Program for Miami Dade County and Travelers Insurance; Oversee the General Contractor Safety Managers to ensure that proper training was conducted, proper documentation maintained and other safety manager roles and duties were implemented; Implemented specific skills and techniques to fully involve management and over 550 employees in the achievement of substantial and sustained improvement in the projects safety culture; Performed daily worksite assessments in accordance with regulations, best practices and the site specific safety plan using the walkthrough inspection process in order to verify compliance and identify potential hazards in the workplace; Evaluated actual business and safety information (e.g., safety and health programs, pre-task plans, emergency action plans, hurricane emergency plans, incident reports and OSHA 300 logs) in order to assess the overall program and identify, recognize areas of improvement and define risks.
Georgia International Convention Center (CCIP), 400, 000 sq ft of convention, meeting and ballroom space with parking for 2, 500 vehicles. Bell South at Lenox Park (OCIP) 3 bldgs (6/13/16 stories). These buildings were BellSouth employee office occupancy buildings along with several parking lots.
Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety and Health Program; Implemented a Crisis Action Plan for immediate activation during an emergency situation; Developed and implemented an effective fall protection program and safety incentive program for the project; Conducted site specific safety orientations and training for 500 employees prior to working onsite using the appropriate instructional methods in order to address jobsite safety hazards and abatement procedures; Maintained and reviewed the necessary safety documentation required including safety and health programs, HAZ-COM programs, emergency action plans and other relevant safety documentation.
Park Regency Condominiums (CCIP) (28 stories), 675, 0000 sq. ft. residential condominiums.
Safety responsibilities for this project included: Responsible for managing the overall Safety and Health Program; Advised management of all significant safety changes and developments including the status of hazard evaluations, inspections, and problems in the overall safety program; Organized, trained, and coordinated skilled employees for emergencies such as fires, accidents, or other disasters; Maintained safety reports, documents and records as required by the Corporate office; Facilitated the monthly Safety Committee meeting with all subcontractors to achieve the successful implementation and monitoring of all loss control procedures in order to minimize losses and raise safety awareness; Established a comprehensive jobsite emergency action plan to ensure employees safety from fire, bomb threat, tornado and other unplanned emergencies and events.
