- Monitor and maintain re-order levels of all stock products, adjusting where necessary to ensure continuous supply.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Raise forward orders with key manufacturers/suppliers as appropriate.
- Communicate with internal sales with regards to delivery times, stock issues, price queries etc., highlighting any delays or problems.
- Created and manage the company supplier appraisal process. Including delivery performance, quality of goods and price points.
- Negotiate pricing on an ongoing basis with suppliers. Establish and maintain awareness of opportunities for special deals.
- Perform a regular Sales analysis of all stock to monitor sale and purchasing trends.
- Communicate with factories based in Pakistan, China, USA and Poland to ensure timely production of garments.
- Liaise with Red Wing hubs and offices in United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Poland, Netherlands and Norway
- Deal with overseas imported stock. Managing paperwork and working with freight agent to arrange deliveries.
- Supervises Purchasing Assistants to ensure that all purchase orders are placed and expedited in a timely, efficient manner.
