This role is rather comprehensive, and all-encompassing. My duties included (but were not limited to); monthly hotel visits, environmental management systems, achieving internationally recognised awards, guest environmental awareness, conducting staff sustainability training, monitoring resource consumption, promoting corporate responsibility, organising charity projects, events and donations, coordinating staff motivation and loyalty initiatives with HR department, health & safety, hygiene, quality, monitoring and reporting of customer reviews and ratings from tour operators, review websites, and in-house guest satisfaction indices, compiling monthly GM reports encorporating projects, operational issues, and p&l information. I was also responsible for coordinating agendas for the senior company directors, and filing sensitive data. I had two line managers, I reported to the Regional GM for the half of my job relating to administration, and I reported to the Company Director of Sustainability with regards to the Environment. I reported to both of them equally in health, hygiene, safety and quality.
